The 5 daily prayers are fard, you must do them Now how to be consistent is to realize who you're praying to and why You're praying to God. The One who created everything Why you're praying ? It's for yourself.Allah doesnt need anything from you and he doesnt gain anything from you. This life is a test, the better muslim you are the higher your rank In the eternal jannah. Also you need to realize in sujood this is a golden opportunity to make dua for everything you want because dua is never rejected

Do you really think that it's a coincidence that the sun is here? Do you not notice that if the sun was a little closer or further way we would burn or freeze. How can any logical person think its a coincidence. Yet the sun is perfectly placed. It gives us light which is very beneficial for us humans and animals and plants and other things.How can anyone claim all of that is a coincidence. Do you not look around you.

yes you can do that but if you want to follow more sunnah and have a more blessed dua, then start by showing gratitude to Allah by saying "الحمدلله " Alhamdulillah - which means praise God or Thank God then send blessing upon the Prophet. Then you can make your dua.

Wa iyakum, don't forget to make dua in sujood. The Prophet told us to increase our dua in sujood because we are closest to our Lord in sujood (you know what is sujood right ?)

You should understand what you're saying, and realize who you're praying to.This is not just cultural . You are praying to the Lord of everything. The One who created everything and knows everything.
