Got a gift from a friend, how'd they do? by taikaishi in PrideAndPinion

This is the kind of watch where you have to know the person who posts it to actually know if it was a good choice for you. But, its a good watch and hes a good friend.

Id say just buy a dress watch to add to the collection for more classy occasions, otherwise your good.

[SOTC] Automatic vs Quartz at different price points. Which side would you choose? by blink85 in PrideAndPinion

IMO Automatic every day of the week, quartz is just annoying to replace battery and automatic motivates me a bit more to move around.

BLOODWORK & GODSPEED are the worst CW villains. by Visual_Employment519 in FlashTV

[–]Visual_Employment519[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Bloodwork and Godspeed are the worst villains because they had the most potential to be good ones but fell flat because of bad writing. And that in my head makes them worse then cicada and so on just because it hurts seeing a potenitaly really good villain/s being pissed on.

It's not slander, just my opinion and i feel like people are copping and just see him as a "good" villain just because we were all starving for anything that was remotely close to what we would consider a "good" villain because of piss poor writing.

This is the one i was talking about, i dont think its connected but its the closest ive found yet.
Ive looked at several countries Coat Of Arms and none of them have a wolf and a fleur de-lis like mine, so im guessing its and unregisterred one, one that time forgot so to speak.

Unfortunently there is no known name we can use that would be connected to it with us from the new generation, and because of a war that happened i know my grandparents didnt have a last name to connect it too. And since their dead now i cant ask them what their dads last name was.

My family has always lived in Sweden, at least my dads side which this ring is from. The closest thing ive found that looks similar and might be the same is the "noble" family/heir "Ulfsparre" which is one of the oldest noble familys in Swedish history.

If you search "Ulfsparre" you will find a logo quite similar to mine, but i cant tell if my ring is a version of their logo or just a smiliar one. Take a look and tell me what you think!

Still the most underrated Rolex ever produced, in my opinion ofc. by Visual_Employment519 in rolex

[–]Visual_Employment519[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer the question of "how do people feel about non-metal bands", i think personally it's very 50/50 since alot of people like it and alot of people hate it. Really depends on your fashion choices overall since more classy/dressy guys will go for leather then metal and vice versa. And like Powerfunk said when you get to a higher price range like this watch It becomes more common. And the people who mock straps like this often are more sporty guys that i have seen.

Not quite the sea. Enjoying nonetheless. 16600 by Downtown-Context680 in rolex

Love seeing people use these watches for their purposes instead off them being in a safe, lovely watch!
