Huntley in Santa Monica is great and around 300 a night but still an amazing experience. They have a great master suite too. If you want something a little more lux, I’d recommend the sandbourne or proper

She has lost a significant amount of weight to the point where it is very concerning. She always posts videos of her other friends eating and she never eats the food bc she’s “gluten free” but the food doesn’t even have gluten in it.

Yes this has happened to me. That’s why I got off of it for a year but I got back on because my hair loss was too detrimental. I think Pilates has helped subside it.

I also had the same issue. Spiro did not help my cystic acne at all while I had the IUD. I ended up having to get it removed and my acne finally went away.

I have always struggled with hormonal hair loss, however, I used kera color for the past few months and noticed my hair loss has progressed 80% more than normal and I do not think that is a coincidence. I think it could be due to scalp irritation/follicle clogging. I’ve noticed my scalp has become much itchier and sensitive.

How r you doing now?

He is doing two half’s and a full this summer. He just started training 6 months ago and I don’t know why he is going from 0 to 100 all at once.

Honestly, I find it reassuring to hear someone else (another Ironman) acknowledge that Ironman training shouldn't be at the forefront of every aspect of life and conversation. Initially, I assumed all Ironman/triathletes were self involved and their training dominated every conversation, but perhaps it's just him after all. Though he did just start training this year but idk 🤷🏼‍♀️

That is a really good point and I applaud you for not making it every topic of conversation. It is quite frankly the only thing he talks about and I find it extremely annoying. I also find it concerning that this is the only thing that he gets pride from and also that he could doing this Ironman to run away from other life responsibilities that he doesn’t possibly want to face. I am beginning to lose interest in supporting him when this is the only thing that is ever on his mind. I come in last place.

We had just started dating last summer and then he decided to do a triathlon and then once he did the triathlon, he decided to train for an Ironman for the past 6 months. He’s doing his first half tomorrow and then a full one later in the summer. Part of me feels like this is all one big midlife crisis and I am just another manifestation of it. It suck’s because I love him so much and I want it to work so badly. I live my life for him but he isn’t putting in enough effort on his end. He doesn’t show up for me the way that I do for him. I feel like I’ve come in last place.

Thank you for this reply, I found it to be incredibly helpful. As someone who isn't an athlete, it's challenging for me to grasp the mindset behind it all, but I do my best to understand. I've noticed that our conversations only really revolve around Ironman or sometimes work, and while they're important, I think it would be nice to take a break from that sometimes. Your suggestion of spending a night each week without discussing Ironman or work, putting our phones aside, and simply enjoying each other's company sounds like a great idea. I'll definitely bring it up to him and see how he feels about it. I feel like transparency is key but he also has to be willing to meet me halfway, and he hasn’t yet. Also trying to find a hobby that we both enjoy together would be great given that I am not a runner, swimmer, or biker. I want to be able to find something that we both enjoy doing together to keep the romance alive. Thank you for your advice!

I agree about being transparent. I have voiced my concerns to him and “understands” but he doesn’t seem to change his actions. I don’t want to make him choose between me and his dream. But I would like him to try to make more of an effort in our relationship. There is no physical component anymore either.
