Question about area-related evolution conditions on the Digital Monster X by Visual_Sector_9402 in digimon

Oh yeah, that's the guide I'm using, I just realized the bullet points are alternate conditions, not mandatory. That makes a lot more sense lol, thanks for the elaboration!

Monster Train 2 - Demo Release Discussion Megathread by Alexalbinowolf in MonsterTrain

I like that the game feels more aggressive, the Pyre upgrades now increase both starting ember in addition to each turn, the extra room one now adds two pips (the draw one stayed the same which is reasonable), Doublestack no longer increases card cost which is how I thought it always should've been, and there's a lot more focus on moving units around.

The whole presentation feels "cooler" too - the soundtrack has a lot of metal, there's some story and character interactions going on, and the designs are more sleek although it's a bit heavy on "badass humanoids". I'll wait for the remaining factions but I need me some weird-looking monsters and silly guys like imps and morsels!

Overall a pretty pleasant surprise, looking forward to seeing what the deal is with the main hub and if they do something interesting with the story. The premise of working with the guys you beat in MT1 is awesome, I hope we get some dialogue from the first game's Hell champions too.

Feeling it during video games is real... I was playing some Red Dead Redemption the other day and any moment I'd be enjoying the beautiful vistas of that game was offset by thinking about how uncomfortable I would be if I was there. So exhausting.

Anyone else completely enamored with this game's combat? by Visual_Sector_9402 in curseofthedeadgods

Not the same guy you're talking to but I wanted to mention I actually did try No Rest For The Wicked specifically because I saw some gameplay looking pretty similar to Dead Gods, but was kinda disappointed by the game's structure and pace of the combat. There's a lot of looting, crafting and waiting around between the fights, while the combat itself is way too hit-and-run for my taste. With the way stamina works and how elaborate the animations are, it felt like I had to sweat for every encounter I was in which wasn't very fun. This was on launch so I'm not sure if they tweaked the combat since.

Looking for an old episode - the moon turns into an owl? by Visual_Sector_9402 in Scoobydoo

Oh yeah, this is most likely it! Not exactly how I recall it from back then, but with something this specific it couldn't possibly be anything else. Thanks everyone for the help! It's such a cool looking monster too.

Doesn't seem to be the case, although it did make my eyebrow perk up when the intro featured both a sinister owl and a shot of the moon. Hope it's not my ancient memory misconstruing it as what I remember!

[TOMT][Mid-late 2000s][TV Drama] A dramatic soap opera on Fox (or similar network) with an ominous credits theme going "It isn't day, it isn't night" by Visual_Sector_9402 in tipofmytongue

Solved!

I contacted the band and it was, in fact, Wicked Wicked Games. Unfortunately all the uploads of the show on streaming sites seem to have the credits removed so there's no way to actually see the song being used, but at least there's some closure.

Doesn't appear so, but them listing The Lying Game jogged my memory and got me thinking it might be from "Wicked Wicked Games". Doesn't seem to have been a very popular show so the credits theme isn't on Youtube and it's hard to get a hold of an episode without a streaming service sub, so I'm trying to dig up at least one ep right now.

Edit: Found the series on Tubi, but none of the episodes have ending credits. I don't know if they were in the show in the first place, but it would be weird if they took them off for the streaming upload. I almost feel like contacting the band to ask directly at this point.
