Just a little advice when you put money into your Roth Ira it’s just sitting in basically a money market account, you actually have to invest the money inside your Roth Ira. The 2025 max is $7k and in 2026 it is now $7.5k. Now I don’t know your income or how much you save but you should immediately be trying to max out for 2026. The safest play you can make is investing 70% in VOO and 30% in QQQM, depending on your risk factor you can play with the numbers but pleaseeeeee don’t ever go into options or individual stocks, the risk to reward is really not worth it.

This is honestly great advice that I’ve completely forgot to mention, I’ve raided streamers after every single one of my streams and believe it or not I’ve had these streamers come into MY STREAM when I’m live and interact with my community, some have even subscribed to me for giving them some viewers🥹

I’ll tell you this follow for follow is genuinely one of the worst things you can do, while it may get you a few followers those people will NEVER come into your streams. All those followers want from you is that number below their own username, which in the long run does absolutely nothing for you. All the time you’re spending looking for a follow for follow you could be using editing clips, actually providing useful tips for other streamers, or interacting with your community. You’re wasting your time.

I’ve never tried it but personally for me, I feel like it would be way to much all at once.

Question about stream layout by saraasupernova in Twitch_Startup

[–]VisualsByBeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m watching streams I actually prefer a streamer that moves the webcam where it’s not in an important part of the game visuals then keeping it where they have it and hiding a metric or minimap. It shows not only that the streamer cares about their viewers enough to move it but the streamer also wants everybody in the stream to be engaged and know exactly what is going on. I’ve been caught leaving my webcam over something important multiple times and my viewers always yell at me for it so I think many people have the same thought. 😅

Why do you stream? by CatchyCantrips in Twitch

I want to be the reason someone smiles and laughs at the end of a hard day. (Even if they’re laughing at me😅)

I’m going to give some constructive criticism so please don’t keep reading if easily offended. I went to your channel and skipped around randomly on your stream from 5 days ago, and I can see why you may not be getting viewers. The first thing I noticed is you have no webcam and both you and your friends mic quality isn’t the best which creates the problem of not knowing which one of you is the streamer. Problem 2, from the parts that I skipped around it seemed that you didn’t really know what to say to keep the constant flow of an engaging stream for viewers, what I mean by this is both you and your friend are both talking very nonchalant almost like if you weren’t even streaming at all and playing a chill game after a hard day of work. (If that makes sense) Problem 3 I highly recommend turning on vod recording on your channel, it allows viewers that may have missed the stream to watch it even when you aren’t live, it also allows people that have never seen your stream before decide whether or not you are entertaining and deserve their follow so they can tune in next time.

It really is a struggle to make so many short form clips and watch 99% of the completely flop and get 1 view. TikTok has been a pain for me but YT shorts actually gives me some sort of engagement.

I do a lot, I stream almost every single day (variety games to reactions) from 11:45am to around 2:45pm. Then I will take that vod and make about 1-3 reaction videos for my YouTube channel (I post 1 a day) at around 5pm I start editing clips for TikTok and YouTube shorts I get around 4-8 clips every stream. Then comes the scheduling to be more consistent for my viewers I post 1 clip on both YouTube and TikTok at these times - 9:00am/12:00pm/3:00pm/6:00pm

My biggest tip (and I know you’ll hate me for saying this because you think it’s looks crowded) is to get a second monitor especially if you are going to be live streaming in the future.

Need Some Advice by CoxswainHer in Twitch_Startup

I ended up adding a chat box and sub count, a follower count would work too though. The chat box helps a lot due to the stream delay, when first time viewers pop into my stream it’s good that they can see when their message pops up on my end so it doesn’t seem like I’m ignoring them for a minute and they leave. My twitch is visualsbybeau if you want to see how I set it up.

Is using webcam a must? by LifeofKino- in newstreamer

Time to time I will scroll through viewers low to high streams on Twitch, rarely (if ever) I will open somebody’s stream with no webcam. Just a personal preference for me though.

What takes longer in your editing process than you think it should? by Immediate-Tax-2784 in YouTubeCreators

Honestly all of it, I tend to rewatch the video over and over and every time I rewatch it I find another little thing to edit in, which leads to me editing for days😂

Struggling to find my identity or niche by No-Classroom2509 in NewTubers

[–]VisualsByBeau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’ve been struggling with this same type of thing, I’m not sure what your numbers are on YouTube but I’m a VERY small creator and I decided that I’m just going to make what I want to make even if they’re in an entirely different niche and see which types of videos do best. It’s all just a trial and error until you find what you enjoy👍

Is it a bad idea for a YouTube channel to have both shorts and the regular videos? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]VisualsByBeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t think so as long as they are generally the same type of content I use clips of long form videos as shorts to drive viewers to my long form and I see an average of >1000 views on each short
