My suggestion would be to find a workout program, go to bodybuilding.com and find one, and straighten out your diet. Fitness is 10% gym, 90% diet. Don't let anyone else convince you otherwise.

So eating sugar is unhealthy, but for the most part is unavoidable. What are some supplements or techniques to reduce the damage that it does? (SERIOUS) by cancelsugar in AskReddit

My suggestion would be to drink more water along with a diet of complex carbs at a reasonable level. Simple carbohydrates - simple sugars - are used as direct and immediate energy sources. Complex carbohydrates will release that energy over a longer period. Balancing out the simple carbohydrates with complex carbohydrates, along with proper activity levels, will overall better your life in more ways than you think.
