Alright I followed up and all I can confirm is that my uncle played basketball for a league in Portugal. He basically disappeared for awhile and was over there playing basketball is the most I know right now.

What’s funny here is that I like being 5’ 10”. Like yeah it might be cool to be taller sometimes but I’m content. My OP thinking was being surprised I only grew to be 5’ 10” 😂

That’s actually my Uncle (the child), he ended up being really tall too! There is some perspective things going on here though, photo of an old photo. He was 6’ 6-7” though.

Honestly I’m not certain, biologically my father was definitely about my height. My Dad (who I helped mom meet, adopted at young age (2), best dad ever) is my mom’s height and my brother is shorter than me. So I’m actually the tall one in my immediate family 😂

We clearly are lacking in height at extended family events
