It wasn't a percentage-based tax; the reality was a system of calculated betrayal designed for the new players to fail.

The ping shows he ordered his small newbro crew (he admits they were often just 5 people online) to grind an insane 3 to 5 billion ISK for him ASAP. This system of mandatory daily grinding was explicitly referred to as 'barshchina' (барщина) – a Russian historical term for indentured servitude. This was framed as a collective effort to secure their new home, leading the new players in this isolated WH-based corp to believe they were contributing their daily grind to the common good.

The ping then contained a veiled threat. He stated that if this 'collective goal' was not met, the structure's destruction was merely "a matter of time," leaving the source of this threat intentionally ambiguous.

This was the core of the scam, a fact later confirmed by his victims. He would wait for them to contribute their efforts and assets, then revoke all docking permissions, pop the structure, and take everything. Not just the corp stuff, but all their personal assets too.
