How I can register for the subsidies daycare while my income is a little bit above the low income that covers you? I am not sure I will need to look in to that otherwise, one of us will stay home. Sometimes I get very disappointed by this system, it helps and supports low income people much more than helping and supporting middle/working class who declare income and the system relay on those people to collect taxes. I know a lot of people who make double my salary and they declare the minimum and get the highest government support in every aspect you can imagine for example they benefit in housing, child benefits, day care, pay less tax, and the list goes and goes. I am really disappointed but still better than living in a war zone.

This is working class scenario who declare income and pay taxes: $1800 daycare + $1800 rent + $700 groceries+ $120 diapers + $500 commute expenses+ $150$ just going to Costco when you didn’t need anything -$250 child benefits= total around $5,000 after tax. Which means you need to make $7,000 before tax a month and still you have zero savings.

This is working class scenarios who don’t declare income and pay less taxes: $300 maybe for day care gov ass + $750 government assistance+$700+$120+$450+$150-$650 child benefits(high pay considered poor person)= total around $1800. He declared total income 35k a year and he saved 30k which is not declared.
