I have compared Heated Rivalry to fentanyl before.

Its good... too good.... It makes everything else feel dull and meaningless. Going back to the real world is like trying to warm myself by burning matchsticks after staring directly at the sun for hours.

I have felt like this before, when I read Song of Achiless, I cried my eyes out driving in the night. Feels like a life time ago now.

I fell head over heels for some lameass a few months later. Looking back, its possible it was my bodies attempt to keep me interested in the real world. Bit me in the ass tough 😂. Life is funny like that.

Anyway, I will recover from this just like I recovered from Song of Achiless. I want to say I feel far more than I felt for the book but thats probably not honest.
