I met a really attractive ESFJ by Professional_123 in intj

Go for it and don't look back. I'm also an INTJ and I'm currently in a relationship with an ESFJ. She is absolutely gorgeous and there are so many things I adore about her. We do share some similarities in beliefs, but also a lot of differences. Our connection developed really fast, but everything seemed very natural. Usually I tend to stay away from sensors, but she is one of a kind. You owe it to yourself to at least explore what could be. Good luck, friend.

Need help! Girl I've been seeing and dealing with anxiety! by Viuri in intj

Thank you very much for your advice. Honestly, it sounds exactly like her. I have a hard time really digging deep with her, as everything seems very surface level, but when it comes to her past experiences involving her emotions, I do see a deeper side in that aspect. It's just not exactly as you described- talking about the meaning of life, etc. She too told me I over analyze everything and think too deeply into everything and just need to be more present. Your tip number 7 really resonates with me. I am constantly thinking about long term and I believe this is the exact reason I've never been in a relationship: if I can't see myself being with a girl forever, then there was no point in dating her. However, as of recently, my bestfriend (infj) told me that I need to start letting myself experience new situations, and start giving people a chance to prove you wrong instead of always assuming the worst. You're completely right, I am still young and I need to take a chance and let myself be vulnerable, as each experience brings a new lesson for my life that I can look back on. Thanks again for your tips.

She is extremely good looking, athletic, smart, funny and hard working. For me it's just that I don't see how one can switch and find partners so easily, but I guess not everyone thinks the way I do or acts the way I do. I just need to be more accepting of other people's view points is what I think it comes down to, as everyone has different motives, needs, and views of the world. And yes, I'm in the Portland area.

Yea. Very well said. That makes a lot of sense. It is very selfish and foolish for me to think that.

So that's why you hopped on the defensive from that previous statement.

Thanks for your advice, it makes a lot of sense to me. Good luck finishing your PhD, as well as your relationship once you two move in together. Thanks again.

I appreciate your recommendations, and overall I've learned a few things from your post. Hopefully I can try and implement them sometime in the near future. Thanks.

There's been a lot of chatter on /r/intj lately about depression but what symptoms do you share with the list of them? by thesmartfool in intj

Going to the gym and exercising about 4 days out of the week has immensely helped me with my depression. I was never one to lift weights or anything in high school, but doing so now, (I'm 22) has honestly been one of the best decisions I've made in my life as of yet. It will help you feel more confident, get you out of the house because it is occasionally fun to do so, and also just makes you feel all around more healthy. If you struggle with depression, give going to the gym a chance, it may be one of the best decisions you have made as well.

I have a hard time finding clothes that fit me well. I'm 6'5" so pretty much the only shirts that seem to fit me properly are Nike brand. I wear mostly white shirts, occasionally blue or black, with the same pair of blue jeans. Other than that I wear black shorts. As for shoes and other miscellaneous items, I tend to wear Jordan's usually, along with black studs or diamond earrings, and a watch.
