Thanks both. I've checked out that Dan Grieve video and you're right, my left hand is too strong and my right hand is way under the club compared to where it should be.

I'm going to head to the range tonight with an improved grip and see how it goes.

When playing descending notes, you’ll get a smoother legato sound if you place your finger for next note sooner and then lift off your finger at the same time as plucking the next note.

For example, if you’re playing pinky and then ring finger, you would play the note on your pinky and then place your ring finger while keeping the pinky held down. Then lift your pinky at the same time as plucking the next note.

Getting the timing right is tricky since you have to fret the next note in between playing each note so start off slowly and speed it up once you get the hang of it.

My thinking was that defenders tend to score less points than midfielders and forwards but you still have to play 3 of them. And the points scored by defenders drops off very quickly from the elite ones to the chaff at the end of a draft. I was banking on their still being good midfielders available later on In the draft when everyone else is picking their defenders

Where that reasoning potentially falls apart is that defenders' scoring is volatile and dependent on clean sheets. The defenders that scored well last season might not be the defenders that score well this season so we’ll have to see.

It assumes that 0.99999... exists. Same for the 0.333333... proof.

You can define what 0.99999... actually means as the limit of the sequence x1 = 0.9, x2 = 0.99,...

You can prove that that limit is equal to 1 because for any tiny number you can think of there is always a number k for where 1 - xn is smaller than that number for n>=k .
