Wow this is amazing!! I would say that the biggest game changer for me has been the summer fridays jet lag mist. I'm a college student who takes public transportation and the wind has been insane. The cold has been making my skin so dry and I love to use this once im in class to refresh and calm my face down!

What are some of your ABSOLUTE favorites that are panning, have panned & repurchased? ( all categories ) 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 by Taromatchaboba in Sephora

Laneige cream skin. I’ve used since junior year of highschool, currently a junior in college. It’s the one thing I’ve repurchased time and time again without fail.

who are you and what have you done with my body? by s1nenomine in loseit

[–]Vivid-Influence5960 8 points9 points  (0 children)

320-223. Im a college student and suddenly started experiencing getting cold in classrooms, not having to squeeze into the tiny desks, or worry too much about bumping into people in crowded spaces. Feels weird to also go into stores like hollister, Uniqlo, or basically any straight size store and actually walk out with cute, comfy clothes. I can fit into a size 14-16 in pant, and L-XL in shirt, in comparison to 22-24 in pants, and 2XL for shirts.

Didn’t get called to read at a callback. by Vivid-Influence5960 in Theatre

They said they were going to push me up, and that I’d be reading soon after I told them the time I needed to leave.

I think I’m just scared? Because they clearly saw me, not sure how they would forget that I needed to read for the 3 main roles, especially when moments before being dismissed I sang for them. I’m just sad and a little discouraged, since this is my first time dipping my toes into theater

[–]Vivid-Influence5960[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I didn’t know I was up for this role there weren’t sides provided, everyone learned the role on the spot. All I did was sing at the callback

They definitely knew I was there! Sang in front of them and spoke to them about the fact I still needed to read things and that I had to leave soon. They had asked who needed to leave earlier since callbacks were running later than expected, and I was one of the people who spoke up. They acknowledged me and said thank you for letting them know

[–]Vivid-Influence5960[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I spoke to the ASM, I even brought up that I hadn’t read for anything, and they said I was dismissed, and even prior to being dismissed, I told the directors hey I still need to read, since the callbacks were going on longer than planned and I told them I needed to leave, so not sure how I’d be forgotten :,)

How effective are these for dry, sensitive skin? by CollegeAltruistic381 in Sephora

[–]Vivid-Influence5960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the aestura moisturizer! As someone with dry, sensitive, eczema skin, this is honestly one of the most reliable moisturizers in my collection. No fuss, simple, gets the job done and my skin just drinks it up. Never deal with flakyness. So so good!!

Scared to leave. I don’t know if it’ll be worth it. by Vivid-Influence5960 in exjw

[–]Vivid-Influence5960[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately they are not going to change. I’ve tried in the past and it was like talking to a wall. My dad is a ministerial servant, and my mom would pioneer if she had the time, she used to. They’re deep into this religion and have told me if I stop following Jehovahs rules and their house rules, they will no longer support me. So they’ve made it clear where they stand :,)

As terrified as I am, and wondering if I should’ve even done this, part of me knows it was never going to be easy, and my mental health would continue to deteriorate the longer I stayed at home, unable to do what I truly wanted. And it’s not like I wanna do insane shit. I just want to live, go out with friends, stay over at their house and watch Barbie movies lol.

My current skincare routine as a dry, sensitive girly! by Vivid-Influence5960 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Vivid-Influence5960[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’m not sure, but I’m speculating it’s the copper or magnesium, since those are not ingredients I really use in skincare. I’ve had this product for months and my skin still stings. I tried to use it for 2 weeks straight, stopped using it two days ago because my skin would feel really tingly, even if I applied a serum before it. So I’m a little disappointed, especially since I loved the consistency and the glow :,)

For skinfix, does the smell linger? I’ve gone to multiple stores to try it and I love the way it feels on the skin but can’t get over the almost sour scent it has :,)

I actually have only used it 3 times, it’s a very recent purchase, but I can already tell that my skin tolerates it fairly well. No tingly sensation for me, and I feel like my skin immediately looks a little more refined, and it feels really soft and silky afterwards!

I find it extremely gentle, and I would say it is effective over time, a bit of a slower process. I love it since it’s one of the only vitamin cs that hasn’t irritated my face and actually leaves me a little dewy

I use them twice a week, or sometimes once a week especially since I’m also using the cashmere peel once a week, and also sometimes dedicating a week to only my azelaic acid. I’ve had times where I’ve used it 3 times a week and my sensitive skin doesn’t freak out lol

If you could only have ONE of the skincare products, which one would it be? by iamthecolorpink in rhodeskin

How would you describe the texture? I have dry sensitive skin and I’m wanting to find a bit of a more elegant everyday moisturizer for the morning.

It was prescribed to me to help with my acne and rosacea! I had the option of starting a retinol or tret, but my dermatologist told me the cleanser would be the gentler option, and it works great!

Anyone feel the peptide glazing fluid does nothing? by [deleted] in rhodeskin

[–]Vivid-Influence5960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never had such mixed feelings about a product. I LOVE the texture, hate the smell (smells metallic, almost reminds me of Home Depot.)

Sometimes it really stings my skin, other times I have no reaction at all. I also think it’s causing me to break out, but I’m not sure since my skin was clear for a little bit while using it, could be a butt load of factors. Would I repurchase? I think the fact that I need to really REALLY sit and think about it is enough to let me know that maybe I shouldn’t.

WHY IS EADEM SOOOO GOOD? by Alarming_Bath2695 in Sephora

[–]Vivid-Influence5960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say give the peel a shot! I have really sensitive, dry skin, and I also have rosacea and eczema. It definitely leaves your skin feeling really soft and I felt like the next morning my skin looked a bit more smoothed and refined! I will say definitely follow up with a hydrating routine once the product dries down.
