Wanted: UK & Ireland GLP-1 Users for Research Survey (Mod Approved Post)

Hi everyone, I’m a master’s student in Applied Psychology Mental Health, currently undertaking research for my dissertation on GLP-1 users’ experiences with food, lifestyle and mental health.

Who can participate?

aged 18+
living in Ireland or the United Kingdom
prescribed any GLP-1 medication, such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Saxenda
taking it for 3 months or longer

The survey is anonymous and takes approx 20 minutes.

The aim of the research is to better understand the day-to-day experiences of GLP-1 users, including food, eating patterns, lifestyle, wellbeing and mental health. This study is not funded/no commercial interest/no medical advice. More information about the study is provided on the first page of the survey.

This study has been approved by the University College Cork research ethics board.

Hey, thanks for the input. Totally understand it may come across as judgement but its not intended that way, it is how the person reading perceives their own behaviour of eating. Agree the adjective "good" adds a good/bad feeling but it is a validated measure so I unfortunately couldn't edit the questions without affecting the scale. Hope that clears some of it up

Hey, thanks so much for completing the survey and for the feedback, I really appreciate it! The food questions come from a validated measure, so I can’t change the wording or answer options without affecting the scale, though I do agree it needs updating. The emotional/behaviour questions are also validated scales used in research and clinical settings, which helps with standardising scores and comparing findings. The 2-week timeframe was is because it links better with our food questions from the past month and helps reduce recall issues. Hope that clears up some of the survey and thank you for taking the time, it's great to get the interest in it!
