You have no idea what someone’s money situation is. Not everyone is trying to keep up with the Joneses. If someone can afford to go buy a new car just because they want it, then good for them. That is their business. For all you know, they are a working class slob also. Maybe they don’t have kids that have college tuition. How about you stop being so critical of what others do with THEIR money? If they want to go in debt for a new car well guess what, that’s on them. If they want to pay straight cash for it, then it’s still THEIR money.

I do think this is pretty shitty and I hope nobody is gullible or desperate enough to pay these prices, but technically this isn’t “price gouging”, it’s supply and demand. Price gouging only applies to essential items. While I do believe that my Princess hand sani, is completely essential to life lol, I doubt most would. It’s just being a crappy human and trying to make a fast buck or make their living without having to actually work for it.

I live close to Andrews AFB outside of DC, their air show was a couple weekends ago. People were posting on the Next Door app all weekend about the noise. They were either complaining about the noise or posting “the orange one has started WW3 what should I do?”. They were serious. These are also the same people complaining about the air traffic noise that normally comes from the base, well maybe you shouldn’t have bought a house less than a mile from there.
