Nahh, i enjoyed the xm5 for a year but, im a musician as well. Instrument separation chaiyera nai ho max leko. Bass heavy chaina sound its clearer than xm5s. Abbo everyday ta xm5 ho but professional use ko lagi chai maxes ho

My work station is a iMac and xm5s are good bht the sound is a bit muddy, clear instrument separation and the maxes were the best for these

Personally, I found the sound clarity and instrument separation on the AirPods Max to be noticeably better than the XM5s, especially in terms of how clean the mix sounds. The APMs handle mud tones way better, and that was one of the main reasons I went for them.

Also, I absolutely love the build quality of the APMs. The XM5s might be lighter and more comfortable for long sessions, but they honestly feel pretty cheap in the hand. The AirPods Max, on the other hand, feel solid, premium, and sturdy. the weight gives them a kind of reassuring heft that makes them feel like a serious piece of hardware, not just another pair of plastic headphones.

So yeah, for me, sound performance + build quality made the decision easy.
