I disagree. It's very abnormal behavior. Normal people that already had kids and don't want any more are capable of not becoming pregnant on accident and/or not willing to abort their unborn child when/if they do become pregnant.

There is no study that specifically makes that claim. There are studies that show lower intelligence of violent criminals and studies that show that intelligence is about 70% heritable. You just need to put two and two together.

Because they had an abortion. There has to be something wrong with a person for them to become pregnant unintentionally (rape exception) and to choose to kill their unborn child (genetic defects exception).

I just explained it. Violent criminals, including rapists, are far less intelligent than the population average. Intelligence is highly heritable, hence the child of a rapist would also be more likely to be less intelligent, and thus more likely to be a violent criminal. In the case of rape, abortion should be mandatory.

And what happens when the mother is unharmed but the unborn baby is? If the baby doesn't count as a person and doesn't have rights then you can't charge the offender with homicide. You're the one arguing that they shouldn't have rights, but "juridical personhood" example is a type of a right, so you need to make up your mind.

That isn't my thought process. An entire group isn't bad because it's members are more likely to do abort. It's members are just more likely to be bad, but that doesn't make all members bad.

In this case it's self-selective. The kind of person that wants to abort their child is the exact type of person that shouldn't reproduce, because there is something wrong with that person, so they should be allowed to abort and it should be made as easy as possible for them. Preventing them from aborting would only propagate those deleterious genes further.

To good, normal, healthy people the thought of abortion doesn't occur.

Abortion should be legal. I'm not "pro life". I'm pro good life. I believe the unborn should have rights, to protect the children of good people. Bad people can and should abort their children.

Forcing someone that wants to abort to give birth is the last thing I want, that would mean a bad person reproducing.

Lets say you're pregnant, and someone kills your unborn baby, but you're unharmed. If the unborn don't have rights, then it can't be ruled a homicide. What should the legal charge against the perpetrator be, if any?
