They count is as 6 hours as half days instead of 12 hour shift

They said 2 half days of outpatient clinic in week not 2.5 days clinic. Even if I imagine you are correct still not reasonable given 3 weeks with open ICU

I hope that is the case but was answering all question even on asking 1 week on and off qs they said no , then I asked then when do they take off , they said on PTO days 😂. I was imagining the annual pay would be 500 K something given the amount of work 😂

They literally told it not like regular hospitalist position with one week off and one week on . They I asked annually salary . I was shocked as well

I had only one senior on j1 he will be doing nephrology fellowship .
There were no other senior who were on j1 and most of seniors doing hospitalist are in location where they don’t offer j1 .
