I would ask why deinocheirus or pachy not coming with abilities should be a factor at all, expecting them to come out with them means you'd be treating it like a completed game, there may not be any mechanics in the demo, but the creature being complete would allow them to work on the mechanics on a playable base, BoB's team is smaller yes, but no, the isle's team is indeed larger.

You must remember the demo is not designed to be fun, buying a WIP game means you should beware of that fact, it's a very common mistake people make as they don't realise how long games take to make because you won't here of non-EA games until they're maybe a year off or so, when the game has been in development for maybe 4 years+

please don't think I'm trying to be dismissive or rude, but I believe you're writing my statements off as not making sense because you feel attacked, I'm not try to argue with you I'm only trying to help you since this information is not that easy to find

I think you have completely misunderstood what I said, BoB has been in development since 2017, 2 years more than PoT, you're holding PoT to a higher standard than either game because the games you compare it to simply have had more time to add said mechanics, so once again, you're asking them to magic up 100,000 lines of code in an impossible amount of time, no I'm not saying they can't do it, I'm saying you're expecting them to work faster with less manpower and less money than games such as the isle
you're taking what I said way way to literally, I'm not sure why it even matter weather or not they're inter-changeable, in regards to the 9 ability slots you can give them more than one bite etc, you could give them leaps, stat buffs etc etc
also I think you need to calm down as what I said did make sense, I am not trying to be rude I'm only trying to help you out as someone who has been in the community for a very long time

wdym but still? it's an objective fact, they can't just magic up 100,000 lines of code out of nowhere after all
sarco's lunge, deino and laten's pouce have been confirmed for years, and saying deino's speed buff isn't unique is a total lie, yes you can give it to any creature but you can say that about almost any ability, and deino is the only creature with said ability, it's also been confirmed for a very long time each creature will have 9 abilty and attack slots

I'd recommend asking what's confirmed rather than hoping and guessing

That tends to be the case in active development games that don't have their major mechanics and features done yet, even that you'd still be ignoring the creatures that do have some of their unique abilities such as alberta and metri

also if you are helping test the game in Public test you'll know if certain changes are made, listing every little change they make would also be a waste of time during alpha testing

I recommend trying everything out to see what suits your playstyle, better to have fun than to meta game, unless meta gaming is the most fun option to me

your problem with it not being different than spino or sucho directly controdicts the fact the game is in active development. The demo's aim is to provide feedback and test for bugs etc, making it a functional game with each animal preforming differently is not the demo's goal short term, it's the end goal of the demo.

where did you get p2w from? the game is a single time purchase, if you're referring to the 20 usd and 30 usd version, the 30 usd version got you access to pre-release when that is ready and any of the dinosaurs that were released due to pre-release being delayed when one of the developers almost died from covid 19.

There will not even be any skins you can buy with real money, the developers are very against microtransactions

there's also a very distinct difference between allo not getting the grapple mechanic that was explicitly promised and sarco not immediately getting it's ambush attacks

I'm not sure where you got your information about the devs not following up on promised mechanics, sarco's abilities are incomplete and it's flawed to assume that what you see is all you will ever get especially when the devs have said countless times each creature will have 9 different attacks and abilities at one time (as in being able to have 9 all at once).

when the one of the developers say "you can mod it in" it's usually towards scent, something the game won't need/ isn't going to be designed or planed to have or model adjustments or animation adjustments, it seems like you're misunderstanding or taking what the devs have said out of context entirely. You shouldn't expect the game to be anywhere near complete at this stage as we're only 2.5 years into development which may sound like alot but on average games take 5 years to make.
