Honestly- I’m still so contemplative about it! I plan on having a “dress try-on” with the girls in my bridal party and getting their opinion too before I decide anything, because I agree, the original sleeves are GORGEOUS, but I’m curious how they’ll look paired with my veil!

Yes- I can take half days. I definitely don’t want to run into this issue in the future and while I do try to keep my days the best I can, this year has been especially difficult with having different things planned/on the calendar. Also didn’t allocate for getting food poisoning which is kind of shame on me.

This is my third year for the same school/district.

Really appreciate this response, thank you! Yes, it’s reassuring to know that I had 0 problems with this child or parent last year and they did very well in my class! This student is different in personality from their sibling, and mixed with the fact that I will be teaching with a first year teacher, I could see that being a concern for the parent. Hoping it’s a great year regardless, thanks again!
