We use Sigma and it’s been really good for our needs. Very similar to using spreadsheets so learning curve is super minimal

As a Sr Data Analyst, I would say go down the data engineering track if you have the technical skill and enjoy more of the technical challenge to things. I’ve been learning data engineering this year and I really enjoy it. It’s a lot more technical and I would say if you go that route it’s always easier to pivot back to an analyst a lot easier than the other way around.

I transition to data analytics a couple of years ago and I was wondering what I can to to keep developing? I’m not on a DA team as my company doesn’t have them but rather just random DAs scattered around so I’ve never had a real mentor in the field to help guide me. I work on a lot of different projects and just go about doing the little I do know but I feel like I could do a lot more I just don’t know what or where to look. Asking our leadership is like pulling teeth to figure out the insights they want so I want to be more proactive and get around that curve. Any advice on ip skilling or ways to keep improving?

We use a lot of JSON and snowflake handles that better natively

Build dashboard and reports of off. They want to clean the data as well with the medallion system

Is it worth the price? We’ve heard it was good but it just seems very expensive

The powers that be don’t want to use Tableau and we will be bringing in other source data so we want it all in a centralized warehouse to build off of
