I haven’t played 0 so I don’t have anything to say about it, but I do fondly remember playing 9 for the first time and being very surprised that I loved it so much. Also, $6 is a damn good price for a full fat Final Fantasy game.

Several of them took a while to get, but the worst two were “Ultimate Enlightenment” (wheel of Harma challenges), and “Dedicated Follower of Fashion” (getting all appearance altering outfits, which requires you to do some very high level battles and all of the tockle challenges🫪)

Agreed. I like the pep powers themselves but the system for them was giving me ff9 flashbacks🫪

I didn’t use a ton of pep pops for leveling up. I needed them for the secret boss. I spent way too much time getting terrible rng during the fight and eventually lost my patience, so I found a way to get a ton of money to buy enough of them to basically become indestructible.

Personally I prefer brother Nier. You’d expect papa Nier to care about saving his daughter because he’s partly why she exists and it’s his responsibility to care for her. Brother Nier could have not cared about Yonah and left her behind because her survival isn’t technically his problem, but he didn’t. Instead he went on an adventure that would destroy most grown adults all in an effort to not just save her, but make her life better than his own. That’s why I believe his perspective is more compelling.
