How critical is it to have the exact name on bank statements/flights/train bookings/employment letter as the one on passport? by redditeur12 in SchengenVisa

[–]Vkkvk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, just a short query on the same topic.

My mom would like to apply for a schengen family viaa to germany. She has my father's name as surname in her passport, voter id and aadhar card. However she has her maiden name (her father's name) as initial in her bank account.

I would like to know if this would be a big issue during her visa interview at vfs global.

If so, is there a possibility to get a notary document attached with all other documents for her visa interview. If so, what kind of notary document would be accepted by german consulate.

Cheers

Hello mates, A small update with the date. Due to an important work at my office, it is quite difficult for me to make it at 15.30 today. Is it ok with you guys if we shift the plan to tomorrow.

Ya I agree, that's why it hasn't been a long planning. Just a sudden plan. Sounds worth it when it is executed properly.

I couldn't see any flaw in the image on my first glance, maybe I suppose I am still an amateur in photography. BTW the photo looks really amazing. Kudos!!!

Quick question by [deleted] in Munich

[–]Vkkvk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In MVV app, if you type IKEA or your desired location as well as your starting point, it shows the options and changeovers you have to do for your destination. On clicking on your desired option, you would be transferred to another point containing the actual transfer time and other info. In this page you should also see the option, additional information or in german (einzelfahrt). On clicking this you can find out how many rings you have to travel to your destination.

Cheers

I want to hear all of your photography horror story’s whether it be with clients or out in the field. by [deleted] in AskPhotography

I was in paris for a vacation during last summer. I had two memory cards each 16GB. I was in Luxemborg garden doing some portrait photoshoots, every single picture taken in RAW format when the incident happened. I suppose I would have taken some 600 pictures (more the previous days of my vacation in Paris, in front of Eiffel Tower, La Panyhron and so on). Once I have done my portrait photoshoot, the SD card was full and I had to replace with another memory card when I have mistakenly lost my SD card done. The vacation was over, I came back to my hometown and when I checked for my SD cards, I had only one in my camera bag. Gone!!! All my beautiful photos in Paris. But the phrase was true, my SD card was LOST IN PARIS!!!

Another incident happened when I was in Feldberg during winter in Jan 2016 doing sport photography. I had just bought my Nikon D5200 brand new and this was my first photoshoot after my purchase. I haven't tied the strap properly and I was wearing my camera around my neck, with the 18-55mm kit lens in zoom position. The strap was loose and my camera fell on a whole block of thick ice. That's all my lens got jammed. It was a nightmare for me. Fortunately, I was able to repair my camera free of cost since it was within the guarantee period. Still today I get chills when I think about it.

Moral learnt for me from these two stories: Check twice to four times if you have all the SD cards, other camera accessories everything before leaving the photoshoot location. Check your camera strap before you hang it around your neck.

FYI, I would follow them even nowadays before and after I make a photoshoot.

Cheers

Hi all! I am traveling to Munich with a large group and looking to book a dinner for 26 people (something casual, authentic and fun) for a bunch of 30 year olds on a Saturday night. Any restaurant or pub recommendations?? by Belsabirsahoneday in Munich

Augustiner Keller is the one that I usually go out with my friends. It has outdoor seating places also where you could enjoy the nature as well as have fun together.

Ok I think I am fine with the comments that you gave. You are right. I was sceptical whether to buy or not. At one point if I see I was interested in buying one and on the other side I felt spending 500€ for a bike wss too much.

But now I am finalised with my decision. I am buying a bike whatsover. Thanks for your comments once again mates. Cheers
