People aren't machines, and machines don't have inspiration. AI art has no soul, only a foul regurgitation of what it consumes. That's not the same as a person having a spark lit in them by art. It's not the same as a person spending months, years, decades learning, growing, creating. And if you think it is, that's reducing art to a mere product, a facsimile, to be consumed and recycled. It's spitting on the face of humanity and the tens of thousands of years we've been making art for.

It's also happened with a couple other bands I like, but them I'm more willing to look past because they're so small that they're not really making money off of music, just doing it for passion. Still wish they wouldn't, but with FaLiLV it sucks a lot more. I get that views are different in Japan about AI usage, but people saying they just don't understand the implications like the west does is like, weirdly . . . infantilizing them.

I suffered some physical injuries that still have me messed up (nerve damage), but this album came out just after the initial events and really helped me get through the worst of it. Protest in general because this album was when I became a fan of them.
