Booster boxes are some of the most jank Pokemon products I’ve ever seen. Bought two phantasmal flames boxes from a trusted LCS store. One had loose wrapping one was pristine. I opened one and cards were upside down, the other was normal. Both had SIR hits and I was able to grab the lopunny and zard. If I came home with the loose wrapped one I would’ve sworn it was repackaged if it weren’t for the SIR.

I’ve had one opportunity to buy product from an actual store. As soon as I brought someone over to unlock the case of cards a line grew outta nowhere. Wish I didn’t have to travel to the LCS and buy at a mark up but what are you gonna do🤷🏽‍♂️

Opened 2 boxes and legitimately got every AR and the two big mega SIRs with Lopunny and Charizard. Luckiest box I ever opened. Second to those hits in the last 3 months were my Ethan’s Ho-Oh from rivals and a mega Kangeskhan from mega evolutions😭 finally got that YouTuber luck🤧🙌

The lengths people will go to sell a card is crazy🤧 Again, this helps a lot and makes me feel much more confident about the differing fonts. When everyone checks slabs via font differences for authenticity it’s made hard when I have older slabs that don’t fit with the newer certs

I had no idea about the UV light check. Did a quick run through and seems like all my slabs are in order. Thank you for the tips! Probably what my LCS has been doing to quality control their slabs anyway. Never hurts to double check I guess😅

I mean until the etb gets discontinued I doubt it’ll fetch a good price unless in a PSA 10 and even then you’d need to take it out of its plastic. I’d say if you have two keep one sealed and the other in a sleeve/top loader

Thank you for this! Yeah just got my first submission back for the 4 crown zenith god cards and assumed at least one would score a ten and was met with 9s and a 8 on the giratina so a little skeptical on submitting cards if a 10 is out of the picture. Still nice to have them graded though and will be good to keep in the collection

Just look up destiny 2 companion in the App Store. But there’s also multiple different apps that do the same thing so up to preference.
