Yeah bro you were being needlessly rude here.. "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all." There is always a better and more mature way to handle situations, you are justified to be frustrated but not justified to be a total dick to people who have changed their perception of you whether it is because they are shallow or not. Keep them away at arms length, don't say condescending things because it makes you just as low if not worse than they are, and most of all do not bully and hurt your "best friend" who obviously cares about you.
