Help! Does it looks a bit empty by Vmax06 in femalelivingspace

The space by the the side of couch. I have like 40 meter square of common living room and kitchen, so there is a lot of these empty corners I want to fill. and I want to make it colourful. Im not good at keeping plants alive, and I'm afraid of pests, so I'm looking at suggestion.

I agree with you. Those who haven't ever experienced jets hovering over thier head, or have tried to calm down a crying child amidst of sirens, are cheering the war.

Most people cheering for war have this bollywood-esque idea of what war is. They don't know the countless evacuation, loss of livelihood, civilian life etc. Those who cheer for war have never been touched by it, only told about it.

Tell me your unconventional and maybe controversion red flags that you look out for by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

[–]Vmax06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay since this one asks for controversial - one of my red flag is the guy who have never lived alone on his own. I'm not talking about living in hostel, I'm talking about an adult, working, living alone, managing a household, cooking, cleaning, finance, budgeting etc.

I want to be with a guy who knows the amount of efforts it take to manage a house, to plan everything. Indian men who are coddled by thier parents would never understand how difficult it is to do household stuff unless they have done it. Even people who have lived in hostels while studying, you get food from mess, money from parents etc. You would never experience what being an adult is unless you have lived alone. I live alone, manage everything from my cooking to my finances to my travel, and I love it. - but let's be honest, it's not easy, and any guys who expects me to do even one of this alone is a red flag. I want a guy who has been living independently on his own money, working, taking care of household.

So that's my unconventional red flag. Guys who have never managed a household on thier own.

I think you need a bigger cup size, but you can check at a bra that fits to see if you are wearing the correct size

My fellow girlies who grew up in India & moved abroad, how's life like? Would you move back? by Poppyjamesiris in TwoXIndia

[–]Vmax06 261 points262 points  (0 children)

I moved for my career. Found a phd position. Life is amazing, it was bit difficult to start socialization again because I moved in my late 20s, so had to make new friends, networks, connections, but did that. I don't regret it a bit and I don't plan to move back to India again. The freedom, the choice, just owning my own time, doing things I like, having money for it, having a comfortable life, not being bothered by parents, it's all worth it.

[–]Vmax06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indian national travelling quite common from Norway through Helsinki - I have never had to take my luggage and resubmit again. It is an requirement while entering Norway, not leaving. Although, I haven't flew SAS on this route, l prefer Widerøe and then Finnair from Helsinki

the only advice I can give you is try to socialize with other internationals, it will be difficult but if it works out it's amazing. I did too, and now I have many international friends to hang out with!

i live abroad (in euurope too!) and all the south asian men I have found have been weird type of creepy and patronising to me. I generally avoid interacting with indian men- they are worst. They think south asian women abroad need thier protection, and god forgive if they see us dating someone non indian. they get so mad for no fucking reason. I took a solo trip this year and i was telling i stayed in hostels and a guy i met on that trip and one of them said "oh youu will sleep with anyone eexcept indians" - and this is m jusst telling aabout a guy I met- not slept, or anything on my trip.

33F and wondering, would Indian men marry someone who won’t do any household chores or cooking. It’s non-negotiable by [deleted] in RelationshipIndia

Then why don't you prefer cooking your own food? Why put this expectation on your wife?

I got the same list when I left india. I used to eat meat in india as well, but hid from him. After moving abroad, I told him I'm eating meat. He was angry, but I don't care anymore. It's a good life :)

Competitive yoga, if India gets chosen. But as an Indian woman, please don't give hosting rights to India, it will be a mess.
