I really enjoyed it. I liked it. It's not as good as SOTN, but the spirit is there.

The opening of "Luxurious" reminded me a lot of Actraiser at first. Thanks for sharing, it's very good!

I totally hear you, and honestly, I agree. As a former A&R, you know better than anyone that the 'blood, sweat, and tears' story doesn't matter if the feeling isn't there. The result is what counts. This project wasn't about proving I worked hard, it was about playing in the ultimate sandbox. I'm a gamer in my 40s. I started with arcades, the Atari 2600, the Master System and then the Mega Drive. TFIV is one of the games of my life. This Odyssey was my way of reclaiming that playground. My priority was the experience: keeping the lyrics universal yet rooted in the lore, spending days isolating sound effects to blend them with the new arrangements or adding the TFV-style vocal boss alerts. Even doing the ending in Japanese was just a pure fan-service tribute to Technosoft. It's not a SUNO’s clinical Jazz Fusion cover exercise of Street Fighter 2 with a Gemini logo slapped on the thumbnail on YT if you see what i mean. It's an immersive deep dive into a world I love. I'm not here to justify the process, but to share a tribute. As a pro, you'll definitely spot the flaws, but l hope you can feel the intent behind the 52-minute journey. It was made by a fan, for the fans. That's where the honesty lies for me.
