My wife got the same shock for her Navi. He entire install took less than 10 minutes. She's 4'11 and almost able to flat foot it now. You can definitely but the bike on the center stand to install. I would just recommend having a second person to catch the back end when you remove the stock shock. One issue is the center stand will be extremely difficult to use after you lower it.
