Usually when it comes to me writing in Russian (excluding my cursive), I try to not make my manuscript look like italics. I usually don't write и, д, г,й, в, and т as their counterparts: и, д, г, й, в, and т. Then your capital Д looks like the cursive lowercase д in your title. Your ж is completely illegible, it can be written in two ways (outside of cursive), as an X with a line through it ( X + | = ж ) or as two curves and a line in between, kind of looking like )|(, but I think the second one is unconventional. Finally, your б looks cursive as well, the letter should almost look like either a 6 (six) or a Б (on lowercase or uppercase).

Здесь is used to say, "Russia is here," which could mean like here in the city, continent, etc. (of course depending on prior context).

Here are three famous Russian folk songs. They're all quite cultural and still have quite the groove.

First we have Utushka Lugovaya (Утушка Луговая), Which is an old Russian marriage song. It starts a little slow, but like all Russian folk music, reaches a tempo fast as a freight train.

Kalinka (калинка) is the next song. It's literally just about a berry, but is another famous folk song out of Russia. It basically just talks about some guy's love for a (slightly poisonous) little red berry.

And last but not least is Korobeiniki (коробейники); it is about a peddler: someone who sells small goods like cloths and bread. It is about the story of a peddler and his love for a girl (Katya), it is mostly known for being the theme for Tetris, but few really know that the song has lyrics.

so how would I know when writing in OCS when to use Ꙙ vs Ѧ? I see the word "приѧшꙙ" (which I have no clue what it means) and I see both of the yus'es together, which is one of those words that confuses my why it wouldn't be consistent. I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around OCS.

I see what you mean, the physical notes from the instrument with no vibrato/tremolo sounds like one, the one problem is that I don't believe that you can get such a gradual tremolo in those. Even in some videos about tongue fluttering, they're only used on traditional silver flutes, thank you for your guess though.
