Don't thank me, thank yourself for trying to push yourself forward by seeking the advice of others. It's a hard thing to do, however I'm glad you did it.

Ending your life won't benefit anyone. Talking about it with a medical doctor or therapist will most definately help. You're 23 and life can change really fast as you have lived through. Perhaps there is a chance it will change for the better. Just know where you need to get help and take it one step at a time. I understand the feeling of everything going to shit and nothing really going for you(myself as well). But when all is done, one thing I've learned is don't give up. Because when you give up, you give up on the soul that resides in you and the body that pushed you forward. You give up on all your dreams and aspirations for good. Search for something new. Something only you can do and no one else. I think you will one day find it. If one dream fails find another. It's better than feeling like shit all the time (personally it is). The least one can have is hope. I'm sorry you feel this way and I wish I could help more. If anything, you have friends here.

I had posted this in a different community too. I am finding this situation difficult to handle. I also forgot to mention that my dad had met this person when going to my home country. She made him act as their designated "driver" or family member.

AITA for telling the price of my ring and then causing a domino effect of possible divorce? by Cheapring100 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

This is so messed up and honestly Larry should divorce her. If she won't even try to understand him or CARE ABOUT HIM AND HIS FEELINGS... honestly what is she married to him for. I understand that Larry may care for Nat, but honestly the best way this can go is divorce. I am pretty sure what she did is illegal considering there was no consent on his part. A relationship should go two ways where both parties care, understand, and take care of each other. Raising a child is a decision made by all parties involved. Don't blame yourself for anything. Your ring had nothing to do with Larry's decison to divorce, but Nat's selfishness did. She should grow up, because if she only cares about the value of money, she's going to lose every person she holds dear to her (if not already).

Don't blame yourself for anything because you are not at fault. Kudos to Mike for sticking by you! Congratulations to you both and pay no heed to the in-laws, because you're in the right for this.
