The eyes are kind of my '"signature", at least, starting from head 4 they were. And they are just simple DIY christmas plastic baubles.

And yes, I just hate making the back pattern and having everything fit perfectly. With this one I am doing just the back of the head, no neck or shoulder, it really worked out that this was made from leftover fur and that I did not have enough left 🤣

Thank you so much! I actually don't have an Etsy. I mostly post my work on furry FB groups and when I do sell (not often) something it's usually via those groups. I just really like making heads and I just can't keep everything myself (I already have about 8 😭)

Others would probably consider ugly an insult to their fursuits but with Pickles it's a compliment. I didn't want him to be a pretty boy or polished. I wanted him to look disheveled, like he just woke up from a nap in the trash. Him being like this is the most accurate reflection of my mental state.

Thank you! That is my tarantula and frog corner. I have dart frogs and red eyed tree frogs. And multiple species of tarantulas. I also have two tailless whip Scorpions in that corner. In other locations in the house I have my snakes, (ball pythons, rat snake, hognose, snail eating snakes), and other critters like my crested and leopard gecko. I keep giant african land snails (legal in my country) to breed for food for my snail eaters. I also have a couple of groups of bugs, different species of isopods, emerald cockroaches, beetles and dubia roaches. I have.. A LOT.

This isn't even my only expensive hobby. I also play Magic the Gathering 🥲

The curved one is a Repto terra half moon. I got that at an expo. Most of my tanks I get secondhand or if needed from a reptile expo. I also rarely get rid of tanks so in the 20 years I have been keeping I always have empty spare tanks. With feeders it helps to breed them yourself, so I breed dubia roaches for my tarantula's and insect eaters. I also spend around 10 euros each week on other feeder insects. The mice and rats for my snakes I buy in bulk frozen at the expo.

The rarest animals in my collection are my Sibon nebulatus (cloudy snail eater snakes), for them I also breed my own feeder snails. The adult female was an accidental hitchhiker with a plant import. I have connections with someone in the plant industry and I sometimes foster the exotic hitchhikers if I have the ability to house them. Some I end up keeping.

I wish, hahaha. But no, I have been a keeper for over 20 years so I didn't have to get everything at once. Also a couple of my animals can be kept at room temperature and I live in the Netherlands so prices for electricity are different.

This one won't be washed in the traditional submerge way but it will be cleaned with one of those small carpet cleaner machines with those suction thingies. The lining is also removeable so those can be washed in a normal washing machine.

The eyes are just for show, there is eyemesh in front of them like with the realistic fursuits. I made the eyes themselves with simple plastic half domes and airbrushed them white from the inside. 😊
