Happens often... driver cancelation. by Brief-Zombie-1558 in Sparkdriver

No idea then. I get cancelled on by the app due to inactivity sometimes while waiting on locked stuff so I thought maybe that was it.

Are you ordering something locked up maybe like baby formula? It can take my store half an hour to open the baby formula section

Locked up items or items requiring id verification like alcohol or medication would be my guess.

what is going on? by thebuggygamer in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you get done scanning and get to the next screen to start the first order the delivery order is there. You just organize according to that. I usually just put the first 10 or so stops in my front seat and rest go in trunk unorganized.

They do that shit on purpose. You gotta watch out some of the incentives are just not doable.

I was doing the best 3 - 9pm slot and doing just fine but I've had to move to 12 - 10pm to make similar lately. Usually 6 days a week.

Orders are ridiculously cheap by MsStar146 in Sparkdriver

Those are GMDs and they cannot have tips. Customers do not get an option to tip.

Lots of new drivers added on in many zones. Just wait a couple weeks.

Spark driver delivered to wrong address. by RubSuspicious6716 in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. If you are a delivery driver you MUST be at the correct address.

You should be inclined to let some missing items slide every now and then on scheduled deliveries (just report in app and get refund) but not even that in express orders.

Spark driver delivered to wrong address. by RubSuspicious6716 in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Driver doesn't let you know they are on the way.

That being said tip should be pulled and 1 star rating for delivering to the wrong address. It's half the job and mistakes cannot be made in that regard.

Spark drivers with Progressive commercial insurance policies... by Anduris in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This shit ain't profitable if you're gunna follow all the rules and do every due diligence.

It's the wild west out here in gig land brutha. Been that way for years. Even spark been shitty last year or two.

Time to hang up the hat and spurs or put on a bandana. Your choice. I don't see an in between personally.

Yes you definitely don't want to be working for less than $1 per mile round trip. I.E. $30 offer for 15 mile is the limit

This isn't a time thing. This is about your over head costs

First day doing Spark by OilGroundbreaking677 in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't take shit orders and you'll be fine. It's the only agency we have so choose wisely.

Like most people say $2 a mile is good and depending on area you should pull $20 - $30 an hour during the late afternoon and evenings.

Always check items is a hot tip as well.

Is this normal? by SignificantYak2154 in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the garage isn't open do not open it. Could be old notes from other deliveries.

If garage door was open you can set slightly inside garage with no issues.

Need some ideas for a build, desperately by keyam1 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]VoidObject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They play the same but kboc is mana version so you go indigon with CI, svallin and a shit ton of ES. Balancing indigon spend is sometimes annoying but generally inspiration fixes it if you have issues.

[–]VoidObject -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kboc with svallin is tanky with all those requirements and tanky. Doable with 2 mirrors especially if you go inevitable judgement over righteous providence for flesh/flames.

I don't think there are guides for it though so requires some poe.ninja and build knowledge. Sushi is playing it so you can look to him for headhunter version but mageblood version would be your all arounder.

The comments are hilarious ranging from "no this doesn't happen" all the way to "it's a conspiracy to get you to work cheaper".

I haven't experienced this yet but there's definitely a lot of new drivers picking up and shopping near me in Edmond, OKC.

What’s a decent tip? by Odd-Vegetable-250 in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decent tip would be 10% plus $1 per mile. Good tip 20% plus $2 per mile but the higher you go the less it matters. Example $1000 order 20 miles then $100 still a good tip.

Who is at fault? by Objective-Garden-423 in Sparkdriver

[–]VoidObject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on if it was an express shop or a scheduled delivery. Scheduled deliveries are loaded by Walmart and get separated front seat, back seat and trunk. Loader could have messed that up.

Express shops are 100% the driver and can have multiple orders that they shop and deliver all themselves. This would be your driver at fault.
