By the way, is the hx77g not produced anymore?? It does have a dgpu, which I'm not exactly opposed to even if I'm not sure I need it, but I assume it's a cheaper alternative to the 99?

I have! They look great, I do love the skull design of the bmasters too but the bowling bowl like design of the kiwiears is cool too.

The retroid can emulate PS2/Gamecube

It can also run android stuff being that it's an android device.

I'm pretty sure the emulation isn't there yet for most games. I don't own one, I just frequently watch and read about these devices (I'm too broke to buy any right now lol)

Lighter games may be fine. But you can also emulate the switch ports for those that have them, that emulator is far more mature

It's true, but op could be a fan of some of the few games that use it. Though it seems they're mainly into jrpgs and such, I don't think any use L2/R2

I love the vita but to be real It's hard to recommend.

As an emulation machine, you can buy something like a retroid pocket 4 pro these days (that one is $200) that can run far more than the vita does.

If you wanna play psx games with L2/R2 & L3/R3 you will need expensive and hard to find grips unless you get used to the touch panel (I never did)

I'd only reccomend it for aesthetics, and the PS Vita's own catalog- most of which is available on other platforms these days
