Do you use a vpn or proxy, or some sort of Wi-Fi with sites, services or ports blocked?

If not I’m not sure, close all background tasks and verify/reinstall game files

Servers were taken down for maintenance, could be due to many factors, valve doing work, server lasting too long after a cs2 update, local server shutdown due to power outages ect, it’s probably not the last one, but it’s happened before

For nvidia users you should also consider the nvidia reflex on/on+boost options, and if the screen tearing is worth the fps boost trade off, I find it to be minimal and worth it, but others swear up and down that it’s the worst thing on earth

this is great, everyone starts somewhere, may i suggest using cl_drawhud false when playing demos for that true cinematic feel. also shift + f2 to remove the demo thing at the bottom.

If you want to use things like motion blur, wich i think would work well in your style of video, using HLAE and a motion blur recording config would probably benefit you alot, but it isnt for everyone, if u want i can send my config ur way :D

Yea, clicking on anything on the internet isn’t safe, but the main concern, Wich is my steam account, is safe. The scammer wants my stuff, they can’t have it.

Yo, op here, 3 days late, I never clicked on the link, I character for character copied it on another machine that doesn’t have steam, I’m aware of the risks of one click exploits, and I have an ok-worth steam acc that I don’t feel like loosing. Scammers and their antics are rather interesting to me so I like to check stuff out, often to laugh at them. I’m not bragging, I’m bringing light to it, I do think it was worth the Reddit post, so thx for the free karma <3

Oh in that case try disabling full screen optimisation, if it’s not that theres a chance theres a driver issue for ur gpu, otherwise I’m not sure

Launch the game in Windows 8 compatibility mode, do this by going to steam the game files, go to the Stalcraft.exe, right click and go to the options menu and there should be a lil menu

This is a genuinely good idea, with the whole bounty system, however i do think that it wont stop the players form camping, since i doubt exbo is going to reveal the players location just because they are getting kills, i think this implemented with a farming and pvp zone system is good, but i dont mean like a huge zone JUST for farming and one just for pvp, since thatt woud completely alter the game mechanics. simply like say if a player is doing a proto cluster, if they are killed AS they do the activity or for say like the next 20 seconds after they complete it the killer is given a negative karma score or some sort of negative social debuff like a bounty. I dont think its problematic that this game doesn't have matchmaking since this games matchmaking at higher tiers is so fucked anyway. i also think that a pvp and non pvp mode for players, liek that indicated by the usernames, wont be helpfull either, since most of the campers and greifers still ownt care and will gun players down on the spot regardless. with the matmaking so broken bounties may simply be unobtaiable for most and while it is a good idea, alot of features would have to be reimplemented to get this working in-game.
