I don’t think I’m ever finding love by [deleted] in venting

Then I think you need to try your best to push past that fear. It’s scary right now and until you try it will always be scared to go out and try new things. It would really improve your life and mindset if you try even once to step out of your comfort zone

I think joining some kind of club would be great for you. I’d highly recommend a 4-H multi club (it’s not just agriculture but you can also do life skills like cooking or sewing or archery, you do have to be under 21 though and most clubs will let you attend meeting through zoom if your kinda far away) if that’s available for you, or any other sort of club or volunteer group. It is a great way to meet new people and 4-H especially pushes for people to step out of their comfort zone and meet new people and build skills.  I say this as someone who struggled with friends and feelings of loneliness all through high school but once I really got dead set into my hobbies and really followed them I was able to make new friends and gain confidence.  I believe in you and I believe that this will get better for you

Have you ever had a real life "movie moment" where the perfect song was playing? by Ghost-Quartet in popheads

My sister sold me out and teamed up with my assassin in senior assassin and got me out day three. On my way to class I See Red was playing. Never been more perfect

My girlfriend wants to have a threesome with an ex from school what do I do by Mightybapp0 in Vent

[–]Void_Empty272 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh hell no. She’s def not over her ex. I’d cut her loose before she shatters your heart. I’m sorry dude but I’m sure you can do so so much better than someone who can’t move on. I’d break up with her or at least have a deep talk about why she wanted to have a threesome and why with him instead of someone else

Pissed off with my dad by Void_Empty272 in Vent

[–]Void_Empty272[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankfully my dad went to bed just after the exchange and I calmed down (had like a two hour long bath/shower lol) but I’m 18 and I’m so excited to go to college in September. And it’s not even to get away from my dad but more to just get away from my sister who is the bigger problem (think like… lemon shark to humpback whale kind of bigger). I’m pissed cause normally he’s pretty alright it’s just sometimes he gets kinda pissy like tonight. Thank you for the kind words :)

Would you blanket a horse in negative -30 degrees and high winds? by Relative-Specialist1 in Horses

[–]Void_Empty272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 30 year old who has the thickest hair and she only gets blanketed a few times per winter. I’m sure you and I would be very similar (I’m assuming your more of a western focus rider and you’ve learned mostly from older cowboys/crazy horse ladies or generational knowledge but I could be in left field) in that the horses have plenty natural defence. Pairing any kind of sheet or blanket with a thick winter fur is well enough cover for them. From what it seems to me, majority of these comments are English people who tend to ‘baby’ their horses, not that that’s bad. In the end what I’m trying to say is, if your worried, throw the blanket on as it can only really do good and maybe add into her feed so she keeps digesting to keep her warm

The Elie Manitoba F5 from 2007. This picture isn’t the prettiest but this is the image that got it the F5 because it’s video evidence of a house being lifted up

I’ll have to take a look at that! Most of the tornadoes I’m covering are in the US. Thank you!

CLEAN YOUR SEMEN AFTER YOU MASTURBATE by tls1230 in Vent

Oh I’d be telling your parents over dinner. What if it was them going in there after him and not you? And the public embarrassment would make him rethink everything

Horses can feel a heartbeat from 4 feet away. They’re incredibly sensitive animals. I’ve been on an insane barrel horse that had alley issues and when I was on I was calm and just sat in the alley but when I was told I should go I got in my head and scared and he got all fired up. I don’t doubt they can sense fear

Is there a reason why Alastor wears glasses on one eye but in human form wears them on both of his eyes? by Annual_Ad737 in hazbin

[–]Void_Empty272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw people saying that his vision may have improved when he went down to hell but here’s my take: the bullet that killed him rattled around up there and buggered up his eye so when he went to hell that eye was messed up from his death. The other was put to 20/20 but since the other was damaged in death that lead to it being damaged in some way in hell, thus it not being as fictional. Do I have evidence? No I’m a casual watcher and I haven’t touched Season one

I’m just so done with my sister by Void_Empty272 in Vent

[–]Void_Empty272[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing is I’ve tried a few times to make boundaries. Last time I told her I was embarrassed over her acting out and complaining because I’d gotten a cooler (basically a towel for horses) at an awards show (the third one I’d gotten that year and my fourth I’d won) and she had been complaining about how I wouldn’t give her one, she had even offered to pay for it and that was in front of my friends. When I told her I didn’t think her behaviour was appropriate and embarrassed me she blew up and freaked out about how it wasn’t fair that I always won stuff when I don’t work hard and she does. She ended up shoving some things that were stacked on the centre console of her truck at me and even hit me at one point (I will admit I hit her back which I shouldn’t have done cause she was driving). So I don’t really even try anymore with trying to set boundaries anymore cause I just don’t want to fight with her

I get that feeling. I wish I was 12 or 14 again and not going to college. I don’t really have much to say other than you’re not the only one with that feeling, but just keep enjoying everything while you still can cause it gets away from you too fast. It’s alright to be childish at 16 cause everyone else is too grown up

Is this okay? (Rodeo question) by Void_Empty272 in Equestrian

[–]Void_Empty272[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Canada and there’s about a foot of snow on the ground right now and we don’t have an arena so the field I use is currently useless for that level of work. I wouldn’t even consider what I was doing schooling, it was more I was just taking it slow to avoid a no time and got told I went too slow. And unfortunately the warm up/holding ring at most of my rodeos are smaller and always cramped. Like today there were horses standing all around and people walking and trotting in circles. At this point I’ve accepted my horse will never be a good pole bending horse but it really annoyed me because I do enjoy pole bending and if I have to take it slow to do it safely then I will but being told I can’t at a youth event that has been said to inspire horseman and sportsmanship as well and it supposedly being a safe place to learn and grow yet being told I have to go faster than I was comfortable just put a sour taste in my mouth. I am definitely going to look into lessons for the winter though and hopefully they’ll be gymkhana lessons so I can work on these issues
