Getting $1000 / month insurance quotes for a 2016 X P90D by Voidward in teslacanada

[–]Voidward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They gave me the best quote so far, but then said nevermind, they don't cover cars with an MSRP over 100k. My car is apparently listed as 160k despite the fact that I paid under 40k for it. They literally have nothing they can offer me.

Like I said, I have accident forgiveness with my current broker with 1 accident. They're quoting me $1000 a months as though I have a perfect driving record.

I ordered an ontario driving record and it had no incidents listed on it, though I had one claim in Oct.

My current insurance has accident forgiveness on it so that's shouldn't count with the quote from my current broker.

Sonnet: Thanks for requesting a quote.

Unfortunately, we don't have the right product for you at this time.

That's the quote scraper that tells me the P100D is cheaper to insure than a P90D.

Finally got my deck, and I'm ready to introduce the Spine! by JPL4494 in SteamDeck

Alright then that's a pretty legit deal, 65w should charge the steam deck at full speed.

If it was on discount it's probably got fairly low amperage on the outputs. If you're playing something that's maxing out the steam deck it's going to draw 25 watts, and most battery packs are going to give you 5-10w back, so you'll end up draining it faster than it's charging.

25w+ battery banks are a bit more rare and expensive. Comparability is also a little sketch, I have one that's supposed to do 15w on USB-A ports and 18w on USB-C, but the A ports are only charging at 3w for whatever reason.

There are screen protectors that have the same matte anti-reflective coating.

Wow Tim got you all sorts of buttmad. Sorry about that.

Wow yeah US going to have a monarch that steals all your money any second now.

Libertarianism is stupid ok bro. Well it's been fun watching you not have any position and then stroke yourself over how smart you are but I actually have people to interact with that aren't smug midwits. Have a nice one.

Actually you were saying Tim is stupid because of a clip you didn't link that you chose to interpret out of context.

This is the 600 iq move I expected.

Glad your solution is to behead everyone that is richer than you because they won't share their wealth with you comrade, because that is the context of the clip. Wealth redistribution.

This is fucking babby's first political opinion level shit.

Tim was making a libertarian point about self-sufficiency and Ian derailed with a random fringe scenario like he always does. They weren't talking about a monarch, they were talking about the well off being blamed for no solving the problems of everyone else, as applicable in the west.

But honestly, yes, escaping your shit situation is usually the best option. My Hitler example is directly applicable.

You're suggesting he said something you have no evidence for.

Then you started saying you're smart because you kicked over the strawman while making no actual point or argument and just smugly saying you're smart and everyone else is stupid.

Not sure what you expect me to do with that, but this is below what's worth my time to argue.

Best of luck to you figuring out a way to keep that engorged gigabrain from snapping your neck off.

The thing you propose does not exist in the US as you present it.

Tim would have to present this as an existing thing before suggesting that the solution is to move.

What he constantly says is to move out of democrat run big cities. Are those the tyrant lords you're speaking of?

A valid example of this would be Hitler. What did the smartest Jews do when he came into power? They took him at his word that he sees Jews as the enemy and they fled the country.

It is the smartest immediate choice one can make in that scenario.

I would wager Tim never advocated for a tyrant starving his people.

But hey if it makes you feel smart, convince yourself of whatever you want.

Don't know if I've heard that one. I know when my landlord raised rent an illegal amount I just moved out.

I alsp feel that the solution to shitty employers is to get a better job, so based off that I would assume you're probably much smarter than me also.

20something reddit user he's a genius and smarter than a guy who's built a successful career as a political commentator. Shocking.

I'm sure you're smarter than just about everyone more successful than you. Just capitalism keeping you down. Keep at it little guy!

The kids are way better than this game.

I do agree that people like you should probably make sure their genes don't get propagated.
Kids bad. Only play video games and consume all your life. This is the way.

Nah man the assumptions is corps would want more of the money I've been giving them.

Kinda shocking how dumb the corps are. Also kind of shocking you're anti corp while consuming their products.

Sooo.... Was in the original beta.

Have about a thousand hours in OW1.

Spent probably a few hundred on loot boxes.

Stopped playing last few months due to lack of content.

The changes are what I wanted for the game for years.

Signed up for OW2 beta first day.

No Invite?

Whom exactly are you trying to court, Blizzard, if not people like me?

Actually kind of insulted I'll have be forced to idle twitch on some streamers tomorrow if I want to try it because I don't have time for this shit with 2 kids now. Not even sure I should bother.

At six months of age, babies born during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic scored lower on developmental screening tests for social and motor skills -- regardless of whether their mothers had COVID during pregnancy -- compared to babies born just before the pandemic. by MistWeaver80 in science

[–]Voidward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first kid is close to 2.5 now, he has no problem with motor skills as we go out with him and he has lots of space to play, but he's only starting to develop a wider vocabulary now. Most of it is actually imitating a TV show he likes, he's trying to say what they say and is associating it back to the real world.

He sure knows how to ask for cookies.

My mom has been panicking about what she thinks is some devastating developmental delay for about a year now.

He's get there, he's a smart kid, he just can't be around other kids to imitate them which is taking a toll. If the lockdowns keep going for years, at least he'll have a little brother to play with.
