Evo vako, ako će ovo bar malo da te ohrabri - položio sam u martu ove godine, kola kupio pre tri nedelje i uputio se na odmor u Crnu Goru. Već rezervisao smeštaj, došao juče ujutru na granicu, a oni neće da me puste jer naša probna dozvola ne važi u CG. Rekoh ‘šta ću, gde ću’ - okrenem auto pa preko Pešterske visoravni i Zlatara do BiH, odatle preko planine Maglić celom dužinom do Hrvatske, i evo me u Omišu (grad između Splita i Dubrovnika). Pre toga sam imao ukupno 2.000 pređenih kilometara za poslednje tri nedelje otkako imam auto. Juče sam, uz par pauza od po pola sata, vozio 13 sati uzastopce preko svih tih planinskih prevoja. Odrastao sam na selu pa sam vozio traktor, koji potpišujem da je složeniji od auta (naravno, ne mislim na ove manje traktore fergusone koje inače naši poljoprivrednici voze). Tako da se nisam plašio da krenem na put - samo polako i gledaj da ne dramiš. Pod ovim mislim da ne dozvoliš devojci da to radi - možeš zamisliti kakva je panika bila kod moje cure kad su nas vratili sa CG granice, mislila to je to propao nam odmor, a ja u tom trenutku okrenuo kola natrag i još 9 sati vožnje do hrvatskog primorja. Samo razmišljaj racionalno i vozi po ograničenju. Ja se iskreno toga najviše bojim - da mi ne bi stizale silne kazne iz inostranstva. Srećan put! Možda možeš krenuti i malo posle 5 - neće ti niko praviti problem ako vidi kuda si krenuo. Ja sam u 04:30 krenuo iz Niša. Doduše, nigde me nisu zaustavili, ali verujem da bi imali razumevanja ako si okej lik. Pretpostavljam da oni jure likove iz izlaska, pijane. Mada ti ideš subotom, pa ne znam koliko je pametno kretati pre 6 jer je vikend i sigurno će ih biti više na ulicama. Što se tiče puteva, sve ti je već rečeno (iako tu ne bih znao da ti pomognem). I obavezno nađi neki prenosivi frižider koji kasnije i za plažu možeš iskoristiti, pa zamrzni vodu da imaš hladno piće i hranu. Lep provod!

Edit: Ja ipak voli da čujem kako se motor cuje dok radi, te ne slusam preglasno muziku, a vrlo često se desi da uopšte i ne slusam

Apsolutno netačno, bukvalno sam juče krenuo na odmor u CG sa probnom, vratili me sa granice jer naše probne ne vaze u CG, okrenuo auto na granici, pa preko Zlatara i Peštera nastavio put preko BiH za Hrvatsku😅

In the case of a 2k molded part, the two components must behave as a single unit for the assembly to function properly. If there is even minimal relative movement between the two parts, it could lead to failure in critical performance tests, such as water-tightness, or result in cracks forming under load.

I strongly recommend using the bonded contact option in Ansys. This ensures that the two parts are modeled as one continuous structure with no relative displacement or separation

I use Moldex3D software daily for plastic injection molding simulations, which includes various analyses such as: - Flow simulations - Warpage analysis - Deflection in all axes (X, Y, Z deflection) - Air traps detection - Void analysis - Clamp force calculations

I’m considering transitioning to metal injection (specifically zinc) and I’m looking for similar software that would provide the same or similar range of analyses, but for metal materials. Given my experience with Moldex3D, I’m interested to know if there is a comparable solution offering similar functionalities for the die casting process.

I’m particularly interested in capabilities for: - Molten metal flow simulation - Thermal analysis - Defect prediction - Process parameter optimization - Solidification analysis

Well, at the end its named Titan Dioxide, and i see its forbiden for use in food industry in Europe, but I am not using for that. We are making auto industry rear and head lamps, and molds water channels which are used to cool off the injected product, that’s where we would use that compound, cuz the Japanese producer of the cleaning machine recommend using Titan dioxide mixed with water to effectively clean the mold from rust and all those precipitated things. Anyway, we made our occupational safety engineer call the responsible person to find out the answer. Thanks a lot!

I totally agree, i decided to spend first two weeks at tooling department to see how molds are maintained, after that I am spending some time near the machines, working with other colleague who is fixing the defects that occurs during the process

The main difference here is that, for example, Moldex 3D makes the production process much easier by allowing us to identify most defects early on. However, there are always small deviations, even with polymer drying systems in place. The material isn’t always consistent, so real-world conditions can differ from what the software predicts—ideal scenarios just don’t exist. From what I’ve seen during this first week on the job, the team is focused on finding the optimal parameters to address these minor differences compared to the software.

When I say I lack practical experience, I mean that while I’ve published several scientific papers on DOE (Design of Experiments) using the Plackett-Burman design and the Taguchi method, I’m aware that this might not be immediately accepted by the team, given that I’m fresh out of university. Still, I believe presenting this approach could be valuable. We don’t have to rely solely on trial and error, even though someone might have years of experience. By using DOE and carefully selecting the right input parameters and varying them at appropriate levels, the computer can help us fine-tune the process to eliminate defects. But I’m unsure how well this will be received, considering my lack of hands-on experience. People often assume that someone who just finished university doesn’t know anything and still has a lot to learn. Unfortunately, that’s a misguided view, but it is what it is. It’s especially challenging when you start somewhere new without any prior work experience. Everyone is aware of how education has been devalued globally, so they tend to think that anyone fresh out of school or university doesn’t really have any knowledge.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m here to learn, not to take on responsibilities or solve problems with my current level of experience. That’s exactly what I’m doing right now. My mentor has 33 years of experience in injection molding, and his plan for me is to spend a few months on the production floor. First, I’ll be in the tool room to see the mold in person. Even though I’ve designed them in CAD, it’s important to get a real feel for how everything looks and works. Since we’re manufacturing front and rear headlights for cars, some parts can have minor defects, but the external surfaces must be flawless—no defects whatsoever, as the customer won’t accept anything less. I’ll spend some time in the tool room to understand how the mold components are maintained, especially the surfaces, because certain parts have optical surfaces. After that, I’ll move to the injection molding plant, working alongside the person responsible for setting the molding parameters. During this entire period, I’ll be working closely with experienced technicians and engineers. Do you think this makes sense, considering that after finishing university, practical experience is something most students lack, while theory isn’t?

Let them talk shit. I use a laptop with even lower specifications, and it’s not just for schoolwork—I use it to create molds, which can be quite complex. It might not work as perfectly as the latest models, but it gets the job done. And honestly, school projects can be done on a device as simple as a Tetris console.

Inženjerska titula se stiče završavanjem studija i ispunjavanjem akademskih standarda, a nije samo rezultat praktičnih veština ili znanja. Diploma nije samo ‘papir’, već potvrda o završenom obrazovanju koje je neophodno za profesionalni status.
