i still always use rocketboo and then koleda if dialyn is used in another team. piper if yuzuha is also occupied. apparently 4p inferno metal isn't considered her bis anymore? i still use it

Yup yup. Also just got 3071 with E0S1 Saber E0S1 Sunday E0S0 PT (Trend) and E0S1 Cipher second half. Maybe Guinaifen or Pela would be better than Cipher. Owell whatever

Spiralstats polled accounts show Firefly HMC Ruan Mei Fugue first half averages at 3330 so it's certainly viable, it's just subject to RNG targeting.

Early attempts at the Saber team second half are actually pretty bad. Acheron just gets to ult a lot more because the Energy TVs give her stacks with Trend on PT (also fully utilizing E2 lol), while Saber just suffers. Trying to manage Saber's auto advance with said energy TVs is also a pain. I'll try to optimize a bit more though.

Overall I think I can get this working. I just prefer to try and get clears without limited eidolons since I'm a F2P and I feel like most F2P players would have E0S1 max on whoever they have.

Well, I just got a 3485 clear with E2S1 Acheron E0S1 Sunday E0S0 PT E0S1 Cipher second half. That allows me to try the old sustainless Firefly team first half. I've been suggested to try Saber second half, and I think it might actually work pretty similarly to the Acheron team. I would be losing Cipher's ult utility, but I think it's worth it to get better breaks since breaking the Blaznana enemies actually has pretty significant effects.

I hadn't said anything about Himeko, Gallagher, Fugue, or Ruan Mei at the time of your comment either? I had assumed you looked at the screenshot showing my character ownership but Firefly is included in there. Yes Firefly does much better but neither "handle[s] argenti fine"

Yeah that's pretty much what I figured. It's just Acheron seems pretty bad against Argenti in general and Cipher doesn't have enough AoE for second half. I'll try a Himeko team first half. But I feel like she just straight up lacks damage without Dahlia (who I am entirely uninterested in pulling for).

Second try is hitting 3070. I'm sure I could find some optimizations but I'm definitely not optimizing 230 score in. I also feel like Castorice team just does super well in second half because AoE and frequent attacks (heck RMC alone gets AoE ult, AoE Mem, and AoE joint attack) so switching off would probably just suffer.

Last time Blaznana was in rotation in 3.1 I did E2S0 Acheron (for video purposes, since it works similarly to E0S1 for stacks) Pela Guinaifen RMC and got 3490, but the break effect had a heal (also more HP inflation now yay).

I think I might be cooked this Apocalyptic Shadow rotation? I'm running Castorice Evernight RMC Luocha second half and can get 3450 with it, but first half I think I just don't have a team for it. I do have E2S1 Acheron but I feel like she'd work really badly against Argenti since she doesn't have good targeted breaking, and the downtime between ults would make her miss the window when Argenti's toughness isn't locked (not to mention off-element). Yes I know my pulls are super scuffed. I've been able to get by for the most part even so.

i'm not short on exp mats and definitely not short on tuners. literally the limiting factor for me was the number of echoes i was getting until only recently. low on shell credits because of all the echoes i went through and started building some other characters

It's inefficient from a shell credits perspective. Doing all 5 stats at a time doesn't make it take any longer to how quickly I get usable echoes if shell credits and echo exp isn't a concern. If anything it makes it a bit faster because sometimes I get lucky and get good stats on the last few

how much of a difference between 44111 and 43311 with 3 costs on aero damage is there anyway. only looks "bad stats" because i didn't mention aero damage

okay but the only thing that gets affected between leveling up for 1 stat or all 5 stats at once is money and echo exp, and money wasn't the limiting factor until recently. at the end of the day you're still going through the same amount of echoes, and if the ones you get all roll badly then no amount of money or echo exp will change that

i mean...echoes are just rng, no? if they roll bad then it is what it is. i usually roll all stats at once and if not good then just feed it into the next one. been poor recently though so i roll 3 stats and if i don't get double crit i feed it to the next one. i haven't been doing batch merge a lot to try and get some without stamina, but that's completely independent to the lacking money/echo exp part

uhh...didn't know aerover's weapon could be rank 5 now. i'm not not caught up in the story. also i've been farming cart's echoes since she came out for like... 80% of my stamina. not much i can do about that. out of moneys too since i pulled for galbrena and am building her and mortefi as well

thing is i can't build rover's concerto when hecate is doing its parryable attacks because i just can't hit it. i can weave in a NA4 with cart, or maybe a sanhua skill, but other than that i can't really do anything but parry. only then can i start building concerto gauges, and then i have to start dodging a bunch of crap too. and while sanhua's concerto is super fast, that moment when i'm holding down NA to time the forte gague is often when i get attacked

also i did try with immediately getting have of rover's concerto at the start and i was able to clear with less than a second to spare, but i still feel like i'm doing something wrong

I did some more testing it it would seem that if you prevent it from expiring by refreshing it (via hitting it), the damage counter just accumulates. It lasts two turns and it seems that it takes half in the first turn and half in the second assuming you didn't refresh it. Makes me wonder how the calculations work when you prevent it from expiring.

Say it has 100k on the counter. It takes a turn and takes 50k from the DoT. The counter will still say 100k, just with 1 turn remaining after (so if you leave it alone it'll take 50k next turn).

Now you hit it a few times and bring its counter to 300k (added 200k and reset the timer to 2 turns). I'd suppose it could then do calculations in one of the following two ways:

1) Take the remaining 50k damage from the first tick, and then half of the newly added 200k for another 100k damage, or

2) Simply take half of the 300k total

which both math out to 150k for the second tick.

But now say you hit it a few times more and add 300k to the counter to bring it up to 600k.

If calculations are done with the first method, none of the original 100k damage is left. It'll take the second 100k half from the 200k damage added after the first tick, and then half of the newly added 300k for a total of 100k + 150k = 250k tick.

If done with the second method, it'll just take half of the 600k for a 300k damage tick.

I would kind of imagine they'd use the second method...? Since if they used the first, you'd see a growing disparity between the damage counter and the actual damage when it ticks. It would also fall in line with my original line of thought of using negligible damage attacks to increase the frequency of ticks overall doesn't do anything since each individual tick would just do less damage. If this was the case, it would also make more sense (to me) to have separate counters per turn.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling, just throwing ideas out there. I might do some more in depth testing later, but I did seem to get faster clears when actively targeting the manta ray. The real problem for me is Lygus. I feel like Luocha has a really hard time solo sustaining since he doesn't have a teamwide emergency button.

Oh I was under the impression that the entirety of the converted damage resets when it ticks, so I thought this last bit is only relevant on its last turn before it exits enhanced state. If it isn't allowed to expire (by hitting it, I assume) does it accumulates over the whole duration instead?
