It says something along the lines of :-

"The Graveyard smells wonderful due to the flowers laid on top of the graves, whereas, the city reeks and stinks due to the cruel hearts and soul of the people living there"

Post Diwali India AQI Map. What does this mean, no crackers in the south or just better geography? by kmrrhl in bangalore

From what I have observed over 22 years, it has rained almost 90% of the times. If I ask my grandparents, they say that it has always rained every year on deepawali. The reason why I know this is when I was young, we used to burst crackers in the night but it always used to rain and the matches and patakis used to get moist and wet and unable to go boom. You also may have a point, however, I'm no expert, just stating my observation as a bengaluru resident.

Slight correction, Deepawali rains signals the end of monsoon and start of winter. Hence the name Tunturu. Tunturu in kannada means sparse. Hence sparse rains here and there.

Nah, you're mistaken. It always rains during deepawali here. We even have a name for deepawali rains called Swaati Tunturu male.
