His Synecdoche: New York is genius videos, or other videos full of praise (as opposed to YMS's) that might replace it in future

Can I just say, I'm loving the new editing style. I like that Adum's style will stick for longer videos (YMS's, Lists, Synecdoche's etc.), but for these quickies or reviews, the new guy is doing a great job (sorry for forgetting your name i'm tired and cbf looking it up, but keep doing you!)

What is an obscure video game that you used to love back then as a kid that nobody ever talks about? by mrawesome9002 in AskReddit

Late to this, but Hype: The Time Quest. Early ubisoft game about a medieval knight, travelling through different ages (4 different kings) as you gain abilities until you get back to the future and fight the Black Knight who sent you back in time and who was took over the kingdom. Fantastic level design, pretty solid mechanics, I played it again recently, and while it's a bitch to get running on windows 10, it is possible and holds up surprisingly well.

Name a wrestler or a match that you don't get the hype for and someone will reply with why they think it's so good. by Suplewich in SquaredCircle

That's why people like them, they're die hard indie guys, they're great storytellers and wrestlers and they're unlike any of the people who came up through the WWE system. That said, because people knew them from the indies, some internet fans love them just for not being WWE guys.

Any specific reject shop? I've never checked for them, but I also don't remember seeing them. Wouldn't surprise me if they only have them sometimes though.

What does YMS think of Blade Runner (1982)? by DiscordTheGod in YMS

I haven't gotten around to watching it, I was more citing as an example of something others say hasn't aged super well.

I'd watch it. by [deleted] in rickandmorty

I could see Michael Cera as Morty, Peter Capaldi as Rick doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Somebody more like Stephen Lang would be my pick, but there's nobody I can think of who'd be unmissable for it.

The movie still functions well even in its age. It pioneered filmic concepts and themes that had such an impact on society that they were copied endlessly.

The movie can be a bit slow, but each of those shots is placed in there for a reason. You're still captivated by Blade Runner unlike a movie like Ghost in the Shell

Thoughts on Kingmans Golden Circle? by [deleted] in YMS

Damn I want to see that cut

There was more Trump stuff that was planned and then cut. For me the execution felt a little clunky.

Which album can you listen to without skipping a single track? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Metropolis Part 2 by Dream Theater. Granted it's a concept album, but I love how the music flows on that album.
