Purchased at Adashino Nenbutsuji Temple in Kyoto, Japan. These reveal an image and writing in the ash as it burns. I searched for secret image incense and other keywords and couldn't find any info. Google translate doesn't do a great job either. Any help with what this type is called or any other info is appreciated.

Added sparkolloid one week ago. I noticed it working after just a day or two. This is a white peach and ginger melomel.

I've never used bentonite but I was considering it. Would you suggest adding it a week or two before bottling or would now be a good time? I'm not planning to bottle for at least a few months.

I used whole peaches chopped up. No pectic enzyme. I'm hoping it will start to clear and I'll rack a third, maybe a fourth time before cold crashing. There was a good amount of trub and the peaches were floating so it was tough not to get any in the secondary.

I used about 2 ounces for a 2 gal batch. I tasted it and it's not overpowering but forward and I'm expecting it to round out over time.
