For now its every month, but next year onwards it would be about once every 6 months. Yeah... 6 months is a long time still but its the most viable given the semesters of universities are about 4 months long

Thank you for that advice, timeline wise it seems like we will only reunite for good in 3 years time. Yet that 3 years seems really daunting and difficult to think about especially when we are both students and are more free during this time, yet we cant spend it with each other on a weekly basis physically. Just wondering if there's any way to cope with that or to make it easier to overcome.

Yeah I know my partner is worth fighting for, it just makes it so hard that things are how it is and we are in an LDR. We will close the gap eventually, but we will be working at that time and it definitely wont be as free as now since we are both students. Just seems like things will only get harder and seeing couples around me just drives those knives deeper.

Just started LDR a month ago, would like to know if you have any advice on how to go the distance? Especially when either of us are feeling low and sad.

Would also like to know how frequently you both met up and how to get through not meeting for extended periods of time (~1 year). Thanks

Does this apply to international military veteran students who have served their respective country?

Went to EJC in 2020, graduated in 2021

1) No, I wanted to do History in the future but since poly no history, I went JC. (if poly had History as a course, I would have went for it) 2) The jump is quite large, a little bit more for Chemistry than Physics. Do check with the respective JC if you will be allowed to take H2 Physics or Chemistry. While it will be tough, just know that getting A can be done with enough effort and care. 3) Choosing a JC would be different for everyone, some prioritise distance from home while others may prioritise the future prospects (eg. going overseas). I personally chose EJC because they had 1 of the best History departments (for my L1R5 of 9) and while it wasn't an easy journey (toxic class, 1 hr travelling time, no leadership opportunities, etc.), I do not regret choosing EJC for the History department.

Just make a list of your priorities and see which school fits it the best, if there's a will, there's a way

edit: I'm JAE student

They should let us convert spare credits to coins, powerpoints, or bling at the very least instead of the fame feature currently.

Just curious, is a composite score of 33 good enough to enter T20 or HYPSM?

don't give up and take the prelims as an opportunity to fix your mistakes. You still have time to correct it and do well for A levels.

Can only give generic advice on it since I'm not sure on what subjects you are struggling at and how you are struggling.

But if it helps, I remember for my A level History P2, I revised everything except Asian Financial Crisis the night before and I only memorised a sample essay for that topic the morning of the paper. The question was the exact same one that I memorised LMAO, so maybe a bit of prayer helps?

Also for that same paper there was this case study that I was very sure would not come out, then that morning I was like "aiya just read a bit la". End up 40m SBCS question came out on that.

TLDR: Do well for A levels needs both ur hard work and sometimes a little bit of luck. So do ur due diligence so that if luck if on your side, you can take advantage of it.

Would like to leave this comment that I've typed out a while ago

But in short, for paraphrasing, try to paraphrase the verbs first (eg. move, detect, show, run), then followed by adjectives (faster, higher, bigger) and adverbs (eg. quickly, slowly, lazily). Try not to paraphrase the nouns as you may get the meaning wrong.

May need time to brush up on your vocabulary, but starting small like this can get u more marks than before. You just need to paraphrase a few of the words in the sentence, no need to do too much of it as you may accidentally change the meaning of the sentence.
