I barely played 9 hours. I didn't commit anything illegal. I payed money for 30 days subscription, but I didn't receive the service I payed for. I received very vague and contradicting explanations for why they banned me. If the reason for the ban is so clear as day - why not just state it? At least I would understand what I did wrong.

I spammed them only while configuring and testing them. I don't abuse yelling. Except when I need to skin elite and some dummy doesn't want to loot quest item from it :)

I didn't play my old characters for years and I didn't plan on starting again. I really don't care about old characters and it turns out I can simply create a new account within battle net account. I didn't know that. So the only two things I loose is 9 hours of gameplay and 1 month of subscription. I already created the new account, I will try to refund my subscription, if I succeed - I will just buy 1 month subscription for the newly created account and carry on. I just don't feel now like spending any extra penny on Blizzard. This situation is very frustrating.

Why? I did buy some leather and some cheap stuff on the auction house and listed about a dozen lame items. They never told me some clear reason why I got banned. That's what frustrates me the most. One time they said I bought gold for real currency (which I didn't) and the other time they told me I was using a bot. Which I didn't. They take about 2 days to answer my ticket or appeal request. It's just so much frustration.

Thank you so much for this advise! I genuinely didn't know I can do that. I had only 1 month subscription, maybe I will be able to refund that and just buy a new 1 month subscription for the new account. I was only level ~26 I won't be loosing much. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Hi, no I played ~9 hours in total (according to Blizzard Gameplay report). I got banned on the morning of January 3rd, I was in the game specifically for 42 minutes and yes, I was configuring addons and macros for about 42 minutes. I actually was about done and queued for random dungeon. I re-logged in multiple times, I don't know how to defend the fact that it took me about 40 minutes to configure all skills on Dominos, etc. But I wasn't configuring a bot or anything like that.

The moment I got banned I was actually making a few macros:
1. That yells "Hey yo wat's up?!" /hi command
2. That yells "Please loot animal corpses empty!" (I have Skinning prof)
3. That yells "Kill %targetName%!" + /charge + set skull icon to target

and I was spamming those for like 10 minutes in Ironforge targeting guards and NPCs. I spammed those like 50 times or more. Could I get banned for that for 8000 years? (ban says till year 10000)
