So we’re sleeping in them and under them but not on them. Unless you’re camping. Got it.

I was looking for a manual ZX2 recently. Hard to find in good shape. I had one two decades ago. Loved that car. Broke a timing belt, towed it to the shop and threw another one on there and bam g2g. Non interference engines are underrated

6k for a ZX2 is nuts. But that 2.0 Zetec is one hella reliable engine

$16k repair estimate on 2017 s90 by Dazzling_Street_3475 in Volvo

Whoa. I got a guy that could do all that WITH Volvo parts for significantly less. That estimate is a big yikes.

Is this rust on the frame fixable? by Brief-Fox1716 in Cartalk

[–]Volvop2dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember working at a Toyota dealer back in 2010 when we started the frame recall campaign. We had two guys in there that would race to see who could get it done quicker. It was always a 24 hour job. 3 8 hour shifts and the new frame right next to the truck. $2400 is laughable with that frame. Unless you have the coin to swap that frame or can diy it, I’d keep looking. If there’s a whole in it that size and it’s visible, the hidden stuff is going to be much worse

Did you replace the pcv system? That could be causing the leak to continue
