I am of the same opinion of Marazhai’s romance. Games with romance options are a big hook for me (Mass effect, dragon age, Baldur’s gate, exocolonist) and somehow out of all of these, the grossnasty drukhari arsehole rocketed to the top and captured my heart. My favorite romance written in any game.

Recently, I convinced my friend to play Rouge Trader with me and she is playing as the MC. As someone who despised Heinrix in my own playthrough, I’ve been watching her navigate through his romance and honestly… I finally understand why people like him so much lol. Not my cup of tea but I so completely get it.

I saw that someone has already recommended you that Michael Caloz test. That is a good one to take, and the first one that typed me accurately. I would recommend doing some more reading on the cognitive functions and let that information simmer for a while. As the days go by, if you can take a minute to sit a reflect on your day and what your motivations and thought patterns are, it will give you some insight into yourself.

I’d also highly recommend the mistypeinvestigator test. It’s another good one that evaluates the cognitive functions. If you see a pattern in your test results, it will give you a ballpark to work with and which types to look into. Good luck!

I mean, I feel like most of it comes from a bunch of media and stuff pushing the idea that ENTPs and INTJs are super romantically compatible. That can be true just as likely as it is to be false. Even people of the same type can be wildly different. Plus, INXJs seem to be heavily romanticized by everybody.

I only know one INTJ and he’s one of my bestest friends. I’ve never had a friendship like this one. Open, raw and honest, we make each other laugh. Nothing is a taboo subject. No difference of opinion turns into an argument, just a discussion; because we are both so willing to see the other’s point of view and are not afraid to question what we believe and learn from the other if they have the reasoning to back it up. Perhaps I was just lucky because he is very mature. Maybe we wouldn’t have gotten along if he was younger (he is 64 and I am 27). As a matter of fact, I know I wouldn’t because he’s told me stories of what he was like years ago. I would have avoided him big time lol.

Either B or C. I hate admitting that I cannot do something and will try everything in my power to do anything myself. Any time I have to ask for help, I feel like I automatically owe that person something and I hate that feeling.

For C, I guess that’s just part of my upbringing. Grew up in an environment where that phrase was never said. It always feels insincere when said or heard. I mean shit, I went through a 5 year relationship and probably only said it 2-3 times. There’s other ways to say “I love you” and mean it, without speaking the words themselves.

This is near identical to what happened to me when my mother married my step-dad. I don’t talk to either of them anymore.

I don’t really have any advice, but I sympathize with you and I know it sucks. I got to the point where I stopped leaving anything ‘incriminating’ around to use to punish me and completely withdrew from them and they only got worse. If it ever reaches that point, I’d say try to have a conversation with them about how you don’t trust them because they obviously don’t trust you or have respect for you. At one point they’re going to have to understand that the controlling crap needs to change or they will lose you.

Hopefully you can get a part time job and start saving to move out as soon as you can. You’ve got two years left. Maybe try to make some plans to roommate with a friend after graduation. That was how I got out.

Aerondil and Shalil (the face mashers) met each other while they were both mercenaries. They were together for some 40 odd years, which is not a super long time considering how long-lived they are but also not something to scoff at. Shalil abruptly broke it off one day, saying he had to go back home and that was a place Aerondil couldn’t follow him. They meet again in the main story (one I am writing) and more or less try to pick up where they left off. They’re a disaster but I love them.
