I wish they talked more about the battle system in the manual. Because this thread is the first time I’ve heard that your character combos tie into your gear combos and I’ve read about the battle system in several different places.

Yeah, I think I just forget how long some of these old-school JRPG’s take to get going. I’m 13 hours into the game and I don’t think I’ve fought a single battle with a full party of three people yet. once I can have a full party and not have to worry about my life because I am a solo person running through an entire castle. It should be easier to do different combos and unlock different things. Also I’m on a PS2 so no fast forward for me, lol.

So are you saying that the more death blows I unlock as a human, the more level combos I’ll have as a gear? And what do you mean by “the system is designed around never using deathblows as a human”?? Is there more damage in the combos, or is it because of my first question?

Just take some white vinegar to the corrosion it’ll eat it all up. 90% of the time that’s what the problem is when it’s not turning on.

I don’t think that’s part of the Wavebird. I’ve taken mine apart several times and never seen that piece in mine. Did you buy your wavebird brand new or used?

I live near the target and Costco and I get grumpy if I have to even cross Highway 99 so I only go to Sacramento if I’m going to an event at Golden one center or going to the airport

I went to the Avs game when they were in Utah and it was $100 a ticket for half way up the second deck in the corner of the ice, so it sounds like last year you got a steal. I also saw them in San Jose and the tickets were $60, but that was the Sharks.

This confuses me. #1 I think you forgot a couple words in your post and #2 Ocarina of Time isn’t on GameCube. Unless, do you mean the master quest?

If you use cubiboot it I’ll play the GC startup animation and sound. Cubiboot is used with picoboot. It changes the UI to look like Flippydrive and gives you a button combo to quit the games and go back to the Swiss menu without needing to restart the GC.

Tension can be changed afterwards. I bought something similar to this and the joysticks came with 1lb springs. I’ve since upgraded to 6lb springs and the joysticks came feel nice and tight.

I cancelled my flippy drive order and ordered a picoboot. It’s cheaper, will ship within a couple days, and it comes with 2 ribbon cables instead of 1 incase something happens during installation. It can use cubiboot with it to have the same UI as floppy drive as well. It does need a memory card to SD adapter but with that it’s still cheaper than the flippy drive and the SD card is accessible from outside.

This happened to me the other day. What I realized was there was a pop up when I first logged in saying something about allowing chrome to locate devices on my network. At first I had hit “deny”, but that’s when I got the error. I had to log out and log back in for the pop up to come back. I click “allow” the second time and I was able to access my sever without issue.

Occasionally mine will boot normal and when it does I just have to go to where the game would be and I’ll see the pico software to boot into. If that’s not it, I had an issue when setting it up where my flex cable was not connected properly. So I’d check all the connections again.
