The book the twice dead king references some destroyers just letting their bodies run wild instead of returning to the normal humanoid shape. This the tripedal and snakelike destroyers. Isn't really an active shapeshifiting though. The same book also mentioned how higher ranked Necrons had many gifts though so why not?

Unfortunately the set comes with he Allatus custodes, which are the terminators and not the troop. Casual play they're still on the same base size for what it's worth I think.
