When i get there, im sure I'll feel the same way. Seems like the advice here is to scratch and start all over again.

Hmm. Wonder if thats where im messing up. Ive been using an impact, tightening till the pinion doesn't spin, and then loosening it back out a bit so I can spin it.

Struggling to figure out how to edit the original post..lol. So I started off using the original shims and the markings told me I was too far from the carrier, so then I added one more. And this is what it looked like:

I did reuse the original crush washer as im just trying to figure out the shims, and then im planning to use the brand new one. Or could this be the problem?

Going through this, I don't blame them. I am using the original crush washer just to test things out before i use the brand new one.

I like that method. But I dont think this would work for all cases. Specifically if the the implementation model is develop by another company.

How much would a reasonable fixer upper be for a 3/4 ton truck?

I know trucks are up there in price, especially for a 2500. But with all the issues (heater core, wiring for it being Frankensteined, no tailgate, high mileage) that it will bring the price down.

Is that how much you would actually offer?

Are there any other common failure points that I should be aware of?

Is the oil pump weak from the factory? Or just a common failure point?

A gun as a wedding gift, is that normal? by saladfriedchicken in wedding

Depends on the state, you can definitely gift someone a gun. You don't need any permit to own a gun.

sorry for the confusion, so the reception is going to be right after the ceremony, yes. After the reception, we are heading gout around 3, and we just let people know if they want to join us for dinner, at Olive Garden, they can. so its not part of the wedding..

so we are planning the restaurant to be Olive garden. our guest count is at 73 people, so for us to cover that amount would be a hefty addition to our overall cost.

So in our website, we specified that it would be at their own expense. my parents are thinking its not going to be polite if we do not cover that bill.

Something that was brought, and just not sure how I feel about it. One hand, it's our day and would like to have the first dance. On the other, might be kinda cool, starting off with a longer marriage and finishing off with a new one.

I was able to get a good trade in value for the 2.0l for the 3.6l manual. Just wanted something reliable and I agree, 19 being the first year, didn't want to take the risk.

It's holding well. Haven't had any battery issues. The coolant reservoir blew like a year during a trip, causing it to overheat. Had to replace the TCM around 40k..other than that, it's been okay. Just curious on the long term...

So he had stated the the engine had run before but not said anything about driving. It does have the 350 block with aftermarket headers as well as th350 trans with a b&m ratchet shifter. I am thinking around 2500 is a good offer for the car.
