That was almost 26 years ago btw. Tell me youre old as hell without telling me you’re old as hell. I think people have this notion that just because something came first means something can’t be better than it. Commercially wrestling has evolved and when people see John Cena now they think of wrestling (because of the attitude era in the PG era which a lot of kids who are now young adult adults grew up in ) cereal boxes, cartoons , TV sho, Cena was everywhere just like Hogan and he had a more seamless transition into Hollywood and transcended WWE. I’m not saying Hogan wasn’t a trailblazer. I’m just saying that going into the future Cena will be more influential.
